Kitna WILL throw 50 touchdowns a season....the same season that the bengals don't have half their starting lineup in jail. It just won't happen.

WOW! I like this guy's optimism and positive attitude towards the coming season, but 50 td passes is a bit too much for the lions to hope for. Still, it'd be AMAZING to see him do it. I guess if anyone runs a system that would allow a QB to put up those kind of numbers it' be Mike Martz.......

26 TD passes is a very good season, 30 would be a fantastic season and he would be a lock for the pro bowl. 50??? What the heck is he smoking..... all those Lions players better pipe down and just hope they win at least 6 games, because right now I'm not sure they have any chance of finishing ahead of the Bears, Packers, and Vikings......

50 tochdowns i dont see that happening..The lions will win ten games this year wow! i dont see that happening..Kitna by the time you hike the ball half the time you wont even have time to throw it because that o line is not that good..

If Detroit's O-line can give him 3 or 4 seconds, I would not be surprised if Kitna could break 30 TD's. But 50? He's got to AVERAGE 3 TD's a game just to get to 48. And he's got to play against the Bears twice--I would have to see Detroit's sked to see who they play outside the NFC North.
If anyone should be thinking 50, it'd probably be Tom Brady; those guys could come out with 4 wide and Maroney (depending on his shoulder) in the backfield and torch pretty much anyone. But Detroit? We shall see...

Are you kidding me? He couldn't throw 50 even in the Arena League. Kitna is doing nothing but putting a bullseye on himself. Defenses are going to try and smash him.

He knows that he'll never toss 50 TD passes in a season......is it ok with all you little needlenecks if Jon Kitna displays some crazy optimism and has a little fun with some reporters? Would you rather a pro QB say, "oh we're gonna suck this year, and score only 2 or 3 TDs?"
