Harangody likely leaving Irish for NBA

06:59 AM ET 04.16 | After the Notre Dame basketball banquet Wednesday, Luke Harangody was cagey and non-committal, telling everyone that he'd announce his intentions regarding the NBA Draft the following afternoon. His coach, however, wasn't quite as subtle. And therefore all signs point to the Irish's star forward declaring for the Draft and testing the waters over the next two months. "We talked a little bit today, he's going to come back in (Thursday) morning," Irish coach Mike Brey said. "We'll talk to you (Thursday) afternoon about how we're going to attack the next two months. Basically it's a two-month project taking you up to June 15." And June 15, of course, is the deadline for underclassmen who have not signed with an agent to withdraw their names from the Draft and return to school. Harangody confirmed after the banquet that he does indeed know what his intentions are, and Notre Dame has scheduled a 3:15 CT press conference for Thursday.

I do think tho that Goat will make the NBA. hes tough as nails, and he has the heart. THat will get him a long way. He will have a good career as a back-up/part time starter like a Matt Carroll, Pat Garrity type. I dont think he will rise to the Laphonso Ellis, Or AD level, but he will do good.
