Rutgers lands big man commitment

Rutgers added a third commitment to its 2009 recruiting class yesterday in 6-11, 245-pound center Brian Okam. Okam comes to Rutgers from Lake Highland Prep in Orlando where he played under former NBA veteran Jeff Turner. He sat out this past season because of a Florida ruling that he had exhausted his eligibility in Nigeria, where he is originally from.

We know Hill can recruit. Can he coach them up because Rutgers has some good players.

The good doctor will do fine as long as he still has Beaker as an assistant.

Wait until Greg Schiano finds out about this kid. I hear he's looking for receivers.

LOL@ that picture. Sometimes I feel bad for lil' Mikey Rosario. It's like should he transfer or just keep doing his thing until he builds some draft buzz?

Lake Highland is a puss school.

Uh, Tinster, he's not here yet.

Thank Gator! We have a new picture.

Is that what Gator was doing?

Fred Hill looks like a bald Randy Quaid.

Sorry, but I'm in a state of mourning right now. Jonny Flynn signed with an agent. I hope Devendorf and Harris don't sign with Agents. Losing Flynn probably cost the 'Cuse a top 5 ranking to start the season. They would have had all five starters back.
