Giants hurler cleared of mystery illness

07:45 AM ET 04.17 | Feeling ill as he did during part of Spring Training, right-hander Tim Lincecum returned to San Francisco on Thursday morning for a medical examination, Giants manager Bruce Bochy said. Bochy relayed that doctors found nothing unusually wrong with Lincecum, who's expected to make his next scheduled start Saturday against Arizona.

It's called sophomoritis, the plague of the second year after a stellar first year. Lincecum will be lucky to win more than he loses this year. The Giants have one of the worst offensive lineups in baseball and the only solution is to resign Bonds. If nothing else tons of fans will come see him play.
