He has a home in Vancouver, so it makes for a good rumour. I think Messier might be a good choice for the Oilers, especially since Edmonton likes to keep it in the family so to speak.

The Oilers certainly could do worse.

quinn is old and washed up

So the Toronto papers have Quinn going to Edmonton and the New York papers have Messier going to Edmonton. Hmmm

This could work. Quinn is no spring chicken, and has already had heart problems. He can really groom Messier and hand over the reins.
