luckily for the Cowboys they are only playing the Browns, otherwise I would be very nervous. Rainman looked great in preseason -against the 3rd teamers, but he got burned a lot by the starters.

Cotchery. With Coles limping right now, he made a great relationship with Favre in preseason, so who do you think is his favorite target right now. He also actually has a QB who can get him the ball now. But that's just MHO.

Let's set the media hype aside and look at this from a different perspective:

Favre lived, ate, and breathed football his entire life. He truly loved the game. He was very successfull at it for a long time.

If we look at it as someone who is trying to come to grips that he will never do what he loves the most ever again, well his actions are understandable.

I don't think he is intentionally putting the Packers in a precarious situation, he is struggling with being "an ex NFL star".

I think he will stay retired once he can finally convince himself that he should.

So let's be careful before we buy into the media's love affair of the next "hot story".
