i cannot stand the tebow bias - but as far as work ethic this is where he excels. i just don't think he will be anything more as a qb - he needs to move over to a slot rec'vr and a PT qb/dual threat to be effective. lead by example, yes. can actually perform all as a qb......ah no.
------------------> USC got Barkly back. AL defense in rebuild mode, will lose >1 game so no BCS. No other defensive team could play against USC. And I still hate Kiffin.
<--------------- whenever I get to vote that is.......Fox would only be an above aver coach if he had a HOF QB, something he has never had. Anyone above average should be able to win with less talent.
Billick with the Ravens, Gruden with Bucs.....above average coaches with below average QB. And they won when they were not supposed to.
<----------------- if I only had to choose b/t Romo and Flacco, I would take the latter. Romo hits the p/o and is flat out sickening. Until he wins a SB he will be forever the one with the botched FG snap in Seatle. At least Flacco wins games - even when he is not supposed to. Romo.....who knows what version shows up at any given game?
I trust you mentioned the whole attendance bit without looking at facts.
NBA is now ranked behind NFL (duh), MLB, and MLS (now that is just down rigt freaking funny to me).
Ciao NBA - like I have said in prior blogs make those NBA contracts non-guarateed and make 'em play for those contracts year over year. Until then, I will enjoy my football and ACC Basketkball. The NBA can go pound sand.
both would have been better than that freak. actually, so would have most anyone else up to and including mr irrelevant! but if i had to pick i would say calvin - big al preferred w/o's to rb all day long.
How can Al be jealous of the Iggles when the 1980 team took out the very best team Philly brought to the SB? We own the Iggles. Who cares if they are still rooting around for their FIRST RING? (We have 3 btw).
Jimmer is a walking legend in the state of Utah. They worship him out there. When the Jazz passed on drafting him (knowing he could sell out their arena by himself) that spoke volumes to me. All star...even the experts that saw him day in day out thought otherwise - or they would have grabbed him. Jimmer looks like the second coming of JJ Reddick to me......
owners will always be greedy (they got so wealthy for that reason) and players will always do dumba## things with their millions.
one fix: non guaranteed contracts. you screw up, you get cut. who cares about hard caps and max salaries - no one is holding a gun to the owner's heads to generate those ludicrous contracts. but when a ballplayer goes sideways in his personal life (al la arenas) - time to go by by with limited $$.
2. TX OK
3. AL AU
4. GA FL
5. TX TA&M

(and I even think "HE" is getting sick and tired of seeing dumb**** stories about TT)

All the Cy Young awards and the .......WS title w/NYY!

Right now I would take Palmer over the second coming of Steve DeBerg (Rivers) fumbling away the teams chances.
I will always vote --------------> but have concerns until McF comes back.
