We Ravens battle with Ben 2 and 3 times a year. There is nothing wrong with your quarterback. The writer is a ****.
Lets go to soft helmets [ as some in rugby use ]? We may very well have generations of NFL players suffering from short life spans, walking around like zombies and even deaths in the near future.

Finally a site where you guys know and discuss the proper techniques in how to tackle!

I couldn't agree with you more +40yr cowboy fan! While playing grade school and high school football, the coaches were always on us about proper tackling technique. Slightly bent at the knees, balanced position, HEAD UP ALWAYS, head up when making contact, drive with shoulder, lock arms and take short choppy steps while driving your guy backwards. When you did it the right way, it took little effort and the guy you tackled was toast. Harris drops his head, leads with head and hits the other guy in the head. Poor technique.

Coach Tomlin is a players coach. With the Steelers being busted up this first half of the season look where they are at . Just sitting on top of the AFC North. Using players in house to replace your hurt veterans. Coaching life back into a dead team. Coach Tomlin is welcome in Baltimore ANY time! A class act!

Like I said...I have NEVER witnessed an NFL team quit like this. The Saints were horrid back in the day but at least they tried and were close in some those futile games. The Lions were the same. Loss after loss after loss but they had games where it was close but they still lost AND at least tried. Brady was out for a season and did the Pats lie down and pout? No! They lost but one game that regular season. The Colts are pro's so they should play and loose like pro's, not like a bunch of young college kids who are trying to figure things out as they mature...like most young men do at that age. I try to post some thought provoking topics [ sometimes a bit wreckless...I'll admit to that ]on this site to get the river of conversation flowing, and flowing fast! This is just a guess, but if I bet this kinda of ownership mismanagement and team quitting was happening in Dallas, Pittsburg or Baltimore...heads would be rolling! These team's get that **** corrected and corrected quick! Oh and Sweets...I understand if you can't cope with some simple debate...you were drawn that way!

@cbook. The secondary kept the Ravens receivers in check? Steelers d-backs just didn't have a clue all day. Lebeau even looked old and confused. clueless about Suggs. Blind about Ed Reed. Ngata clue about Ngata either.

We Ravens must play the Steelers two more times! So I think the jury is still out on this one!
Posted Sunday September 11, 2011, About: Congrats Ravens
Thanks Drew. The steelers looked slow and tired. I know it's only the first game but I see a lot of structural problems with the steelers. You should be worried. Ben's back side protection not addressed in the off season. James Harrison's back surgery IS a problem. The steelers defensive back's looked slow and predictable.I knew they would get burned...but I thought not as bad as they did today! Not just a bad day, but fundamentally hammered in every way. You win with speed in the NFL and we Ravens know it because the steelers have shown it. Your management better take the blinders off they borrowed from the colts this summer.
