Carlyle haunted by Game 7 regrets
You haven't been paying attention.
None of it matters and I don't get overly fussed about any of it.
I have teams I prefer, but I always have a horse in any race run. Even if it's only the team I hate the least (Van-SJ).
Montreal got rubbed out in Rd 1. BFD.
So did Canucks. It's a wash.
Wings still active, plus 1.
Picked Pens for daughter in her office pool, so Pitt winning is good.
Position re-evaluated in next round.
You never know, I could be rooting for Bos over LA?
Not that I wouldn't smirk a wee bit if Marshand took one n the marble bag from anybody.

Murky future for Torres in San Jose
I never knew unbridled optimism was a euphemism for BOHICA.

Like you wanting to see The Avery thumped, ditto for me.
If it was against a team I dislike, like when he low bridged Salo, I'm for it.
But this is the playoffs my friend, and I'm rooting for NYR.
So currently I'm hoping he gets thumped.

Oates says he could 'easily' beat up Tortorella
I never watch interviews as I do not watch sports news shows or post game.
But tonight I inadvertantly saw 2 coaches say some true and funny stuff.
Tortorella evading the Rick Nash sucks question.
And Babcock turning into some kind of electro-physical scientist lecturing us on sine waves.

I stand by my comment..
The tone was whiny...

You should take a stroll around Vancouver these days..... No bar action anywhere.

He also deserved a smack upside the head for his cutsie little stick to the nether regions of Callahan??
Posted Friday May 17, 2013, About:
Carlyle haunted by Game 7 regrets
I was sure it was a playoff game.
But as I said those were the "green" years...
Dark green in fact..

Get a real hard knock and you will soon realize it's a pastime, not a life or death situation.
Like watching a Game of Thrones episode.

Correct, the game turned into a rout.
I remember my friend up and bouncing about "Go, Go, Go!!!"
Followed by "What the futz!! No, No, No!!!"

But you came back.
I grew out of taking it all too seriously when I was 25?
It really doesn't matter.
Posted Friday May 17, 2013, About:

I'm sure it was the Giants.

That's a horse of another colour.
Purpose built tournament.
Not Limpic in anyway.
Canada Cups used to be like that.
But we've been down this road before.....

Stick around.

Anubody remember a fumble made by Jerry Rice (I believe as a rookie) against the Giants when he was home free for a TD but dropped the ball?
Not sure but I have a recolection of Jim Burt busting through and nailing Montana in the chest in same game?
Those were very "green" years so the details get murky...

Somebody has probably already corrected you, but yes the Drive was versus Cleveland.
