Its not if NASCAR will race at Circuit of the Americas -- but rather when NASCAR races there ... it is just a matter of time! Friggin' beautiful track ...
Now that would separate the men from the .... Ooops, can't say that ... LOL. Most in NASCAR came up thru dirt tracks -- and some didn't ... would be interesting.
One of my kids is in Wichita Falls ... they have a "sissy hole" (ya'-- right) and have been pretty lucky. I also have a Nam' friend (7 year POW / Hanoi Hilton) and his family were spared again this time -- lives near Tinker ... seems like those F3/4s follow along I44 right into OK City
From Jayski -- TV graphic mistake leads to fan confusion: A television graphic incorrectly showed #48-Jimmie Johnson should have entered pit road 11th instead of fourth on the mandatory four-tire stop before the final segment of Saturday night's Sprint All-Star Race. It started a social media outcry for those who didn't know the facts. It grew louder when Johnson left pit road second. It grew even louder when the five-time Sprint Cup champion won for the second straight year and a record fourth time overall, breaking a tie with Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt and future Hall of Famer Jeff Gordon. "People just want to hate," Johnson said with a laugh inside the media center at Charlotte Motor Speedway. "That's fine. I'm just lucky. NASCAR rigs the races and whatever they want to believe. I'm going home with a cool trophy and a big check and we all really know what happened. So whatever."(ESPN) NOTE: Johnson coming in 4th for the pitstop was correct, see the averages of the four segments and the order of pit road entry on my Jayski's Sprint All-Star Race page.(5-19-2013
I know what you mean -- I was born and raised about 30 miles west on 29 ... if there is an intersection you can bet there is either a church or a tavern on the corner ... sometimes both LOL
Do they still have a Big Boys hamburger place on the west side? He might come back for that. Or maybe that little tavern over by Farm Fleet ... he needs to be part of the Packers again ...
When, in the courfe of human events, it becomes neceffary for one people to diffolve the political bands which have connected then to another, and to affume ... you know nothing about the document from 1776 ...
National Stock Car Racing chief appellate officer John Middlebrook on Tuesday upheld the fines and points penalties against Penske Racing but reduced the suspensions of seven crew members from six to two NASCAR Sprint Cup points races ??? a stretch including the Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 18.
Correct -- he always seems to be there ... good thing TURD pulled MWRs "light" engines or he may have gotten caught up in TURD Gate also. MWR does not need that ...
