The guy he was talking about is Mante Teo from the state of Hawaii this past year recruiting class, who chose Notre Dame over USC, he will be a freshman this fall. Julio Jones was in the recruiting class a year ago, he will be a sophmore this fall, and yes he is a beast. Saban did a good job as usual.

I only see 2 Top 10 teams so far. Does that make the other 8 programs hot garabage. Florida the Defending National Champs, 2 out of the last 3, and you don't have them on your list, WOW. USC with the warm weather, and Pete Carroll's linemen go top 25 in the draft every year. Who could argue that, wearing flip flops to class everyday. Who know whats important to that kid, but him and his family.

Your comment about having to forfeit if we beat ND this season is nonsensical. I realize you were trying to get a dig in about our recent academic scandal, which shouldn't be too hard to do, but you missed anyway.
The QB who thought he was god was Wyatt Sexton. The QB who gambled his future away was Adrian MacPherson, who, by the way, was light years more talented than Jimmy Clausen.
With the POSSIBLE exception of the Mighty Quinn, Notre Dame hasn't had a good quarterback since...Joe Montana? Meantime, we've produced two Heisman winners at the position who each led their team to a National Title...I think I'll stick with FSU.
The best pro prospect QB from FSU was Brad Johnson period. I will take my 7 Heisman winners over your two any day of the week. We had a few decent QB at Notre Dame since Montana, the first one that comes to mind is Steve Beuerlein, Tony Rice (won the last National Championship at Notre Dame), Rick Mirers was good in college; he's pro career was better than Weinke's and that's horrible in my opinion, and Mr. Quinn, who may actual do something in the Pro's has the capabilities to do something special. In fact the best QB from FSU in the pros doesn't even play QB; he is a receiver for the Arizona Cardinals. Just my opinion. FSU's glorious history is written in the 90's, which you dominated, period. FSU is starting to sound like Notre Dame's history, trying to get back to the glory days of yesterday, but my history doens't compare to yours on any level.
Please, spare me. If we played ND this upcoming season, we'd beat them like a rented mule.
I like FSU's Quarterback, his is the first one you have legitment since, Rix jacked it up for those four years. I know we have struggled at Notre Dame, but we usually have a Quarterback or two to get drafted every once in awhile. I don't think we are back in any capactiy, but making good strides in the right direction. Pickle boy, played pretty decent down the stretch making all of his progressions reads and most importantly learning how to manage the game pretty well. They needed that bowl win, even if it was against Ocala High School, I would have taken it. It builds momentum going into there off season program and especially for spring practice. Oh' Warden, how is Michingan coming along?
I suspect the closest you have come to any university is a logo on a T-shirt.
EyesWIDEopen,
I know we have our moments on here, but I commend you for showing up and taking your lumps like a man. I have a few things too add, FSU was getting pretty close lately in class room violations and Bowden was trying to clean it up, sometimes these things happen. Everyone in College Football is violating some sort of rule... period. I don't care what you Major Division 1 Football program it is, there is something funny going on, PERIOD! To address the Reggie Bush situation, I am no USC Fan, but an Independent Agent, whom Mr. Bush had verbally committed to sign later after his college playing days was over, hooked him with a Car and a House and other lavishing gifts. Even flew his family to the Heisman Trophey presentation. He footed the bill, a former Gangster. Maurice Clarett, whom I have no respect for, was isolated by Booster members, from town (Columbus), was responsible for giving him his car and everything else that was given too him. Paperwork never led back to OSU or Jim Tressell. All universities as sometime or another have given athletes some form of lavishing gifts, besides that small amount of $500.00, we used to get every month. As a former College Athlete and Graduate, I might add, that is the main reason Coach Holtz left Notre Dame.
