The practice of the commish handling the Cup to the Champs has to change. Those scenes are sickening. It should be the previous champs captain handing over the Cup. Or someone else...maybe even a HOF'er. Change it up NHL.

Agreed. He had to play with pylons last year and he still had a point per game going. He has a decent shot,i dont know why he doesnt use it more. The guy is 2nd in assists in the NHL in the last 3 seasons. Wait till he gets some real wingers,he'll be a 100 point threat. Axelsson on the top line? PLEASE. From the pre-season games,he has not found chemistyr with Ryder yet. Ryder has found chemistry playing with Krejci. Plus Blake Wheeler has been playing some outstanding hockey. He's survived 90% of the cuts but his cap # is 2.85. My GM has got to find away to dump or trade some dead weight. (dead-weight: Axelsson,Schaefer,Manny,Hnidy,Alberts,).

This guy is a hustler but he wouldve only played on the 4th line anyway. We have Savard,Bergeron,and Krejci as our top 3 centers. He didnt want to play on the 4th line. Plus Philly offered him 2 years. I think he'll fit in there. He's a decent fill-in type player. He's not spectacular by any means but he is solid defensively.

Agreed. I think their logic back then was "we're not satisfied going to the final four. We need to get over that hump" They trade him and some other and now they cant get a sniff of the Final Four. LOL. No offence there Avs fans. Drury was one of the better secondary scorers in the NHL back then. Him and Forsberg were awesome together.

To me Alfie plays hard and back-checks all the time. What more can you ask from him? I'm kinda surprised that he hasnt gotten nominated for the Selke trophy yet. I think the only thing he can improve on is in the leadership department.
