Posted Saturday October 26, 2013, About: Cam Newton credits teammates for improved play
Wins are the barometer in which success is measured. However, there have been games this year in which he has looked like he is going through the motions of a practice. He needs to continue to come into each game and play like it means something.
Posted Tuesday October 15, 2013, About: Panthers plan to go for it on every fourth down
This won't work everytime and at some point, it will backfire
Posted Tuesday September 17, 2013, About: Honeymoon definitely over in Carolina
There's some truth in that statement. Newton was non chalant all day. When he was doing a play action pass, it looked like he was in mini camp going half speed. No sense of urgency. Try to sell the fake there Cam.

And the secondary is like a sieve. Two straight weeks (this year) where the defense and DB's let the team down on the final drive of the game.
Posted Tuesday September 10, 2013, About: Manziel is Saban's kind of player?
Does Saban mean he likes an arrogant, cheating, lying, beer guzzling over the top personality that likes the spotlight on him all the time?
Posted Saturday September 07, 2013, About: Chip Kelly downplays Riley Cooper-Cary Williams altercation
I'm sure it's connected somehow. Why else would there be a scuffle like that for no other apparent reason.
Posted Wednesday September 04, 2013, About: Kelly underestimating Michigan rivalry?
Notre Dame is a unique school in which they do have more than one big rivalry. USC is 1a on the list and Michigan is 1b.
Posted Wednesday July 31, 2013, About: New GM puts Newton on notice
Cam needs an OL that blocks, a DL that puts pressure on the other team's QB and a secondary that can cover receivers and make tackles.
Posted Saturday July 06, 2013, About: Spurs, Celtics and Pacers interested in Greg Oden
He's too big of a question mark. These teams are wasting their time unless they're looking for a decent player to give their primary big man some good competition in practice.
Posted Saturday June 29, 2013, About: NFL rejects White House's request to promote Obamacare
NFL shouldn't get into politics.
Posted Sunday June 23, 2013, About: Don Shula advises son on coaching Cam Newton
Making Cam feels comfy on game day is understatement. Anyone who is a fan of the Panthers clearly sees this on a weekly basis. Hopefully Shula can help Cam get over his poutiness. Cam is a great player but I get sick of watching him pout on the sidelines when things don't go his way. That's not how leaders should react.
Hey Frank, it might be best to keep the hungry lion in the cage before you poke him. Better yet...not poke him at all.
Posted Saturday April 27, 2013, About: Report: Bud Selig rejected 5-year MLB extension
The only reason Selig is the commissioner for so long is because he's buddy-buddy with all the owners since he was one himself. Really...can an 80 year old really keep up the rigors of a high profile job such as MLB Commish?
Posted Monday April 15, 2013, About: Remy Abell to transfer from Indiana
IU's loss to Syracuse was like all the other ones they had this year. Indiana got out-muscled underneath and they let their opponent get too many offensive boards. That and too many turnovers. It was a trend in each of the losses.
Posted Saturday April 13, 2013, About: Remy Abell to transfer from Indiana
I'm a little skeptical on this one. Is what he's saying is true or does he want to leave because he thinks there isn't much of a chance to play for a title at IU in the next 2 years?
Posted Monday April 08, 2013, About: Braves GM kicks Cubs pitchers off field
Can't listen to instructions, huh? Guess that's why the Cubbies dropped 3 to the Braves this weekend.
Posted Saturday March 23, 2013, About: Ted Ginn Jr. signs with Panthers
Armanti Edwards has been an experiment at WR and punt returner since he was drafted. That hasn't worked out too well either.
Posted Monday March 11, 2013, About: Crean accuses ex-IU assistant of wrecking program
You nay sayers must be upset because your favorite team's coach doesn't stand up for your program and players like Crean does.
While it is true about the former assistant, TC probably should have just smiled and shook his hand. However after just winning a huge game in the way that it all came down at the end, Crean's competitive spirit came through and he took the opportunity for a little verbal jab. He didn't say anything that members of Hoosier Nation thought about saying...TC just had the opportunity to do so.
Posted Sunday February 10, 2013, About: Panthers, city council agree on stadium upgrades
Are these upgrades going for the suites and high end ticket holders or will they be for the person that sits out in the elements screaming for their team when they're down by 2 td's late in the game?
Posted Saturday February 02, 2013, About: Bob Knight: Fab Five 'never won anything'
Knight brings up some valid points that the other commentators were afraid to mention. That Michigan team kind of paved the way for all the freshmen that are starting now. Just think, if they didn't do that, Calipari at Kentucky would have to recruit differently.
Posted Tuesday January 22, 2013, About: Welker's wife issues Ray Lewis an apology
While freedom of speech grants her the right to say what she thinks, it's just not proper decorum for the wife of an opposing player to post that kind of stuff. Sounds like another upset Patriots fan whose team got beat blowing off some steam.
Posted Tuesday January 15, 2013, About: Panthers hiring head coaching heir-apparent at OC?
I can understand the thought process. However, if the Panthers aren't successful (namely on offense) then one of the first people who get blamed is the OC and this is the same guy that you want to hire as a potential HC when you let the existing guy go?
