How was it mismanaged? Their next few games will determine who wins the division and the rest of the staff isnt up to par except for Pettite and he's not pitching. They need a rested bullpen these next few days to stay ahead of B-more in my opinion.
Settle down people. The post wasn't meant for relevance. It was meant to be a joke. Have you drank coffee this morning yet, clem? Maybe something tied too tight around your nether regions? SHEESH!!!
He'll stay in St. Louis...unless Theo wants to make a splash in Chicago or Moreno wants to bring him to Anaheim to DH. The Yanks are out and so are the Sox. No way those two teams bid on this guy, not even to drive the price up. Whoever says these teams, along with the Phillies, are irresponsible with money or have no discipline, is full of BALONEY. Those three teams play in the biggest baseball markets, make the most money, and well, if you got it spend it. Baseball would be far worse than it is now if these three teams started to spend like the Marlins.
However, the Yanks always bring a good product on the field. They have made the postseason every year since '95 (except for 2008). When management pays big money to field a winning team then you can say what you want. But when you pay big money to field a team like the Amazins' then you need to take a dose of reality FRED. Its your money isn't it?
Now, about those Mets...
(Or is it Madoff's money now?)
