Posted Friday November 28, 2008, About: Juventus wants all-Italian side
Very ethnocentric and exclusive. Juventus management needs to grow up.
Posted Wednesday July 23, 2008, About: Eto'o's excessive salary demands
Man, this dude is spoiled. Hey, I've never made millions, so I can't say I wouldn't be greedy, but come on, he's got to have reasonable demands. I have a feeling that even if someone paid him what he wants, he'll just do the typical thing and underperform next season, wherever he plays.
Posted Thursday July 17, 2008, About: Eto'o to play in Asian league
It's obviously that this cat is the typical money-hungry athlete. The Asian League, come on. It will definitely raise attendance and sales for that club dramatically.
Posted Friday July 11, 2008, About: Lakers offer Odom for Artest
Not a good deal for Kings because Odom has already shown that he can't be a second option scorer. He doesn't want that pressure. At least on the Lakers he's got Kobe and Gasol, and Bynum to be the first 3 options on offense. He would be second behind Kevin Martin in Sac-Town and would wilt under that pressure. He doesn't want to score really.
Posted Wednesday July 09, 2008, About: Pistons have interest in Delfino
Why would Delfino want to go back to the Pistons and ride the bench again? He would be a good player off the bench for some time. Definitely not a starter in the NBA.
Posted Tuesday July 01, 2008, About: Milan renews Drogba interest
Drogba, although not as tall as Adebayor, he's stronger and has better ball skills then him. I don't see anything wrong with him. The term "thug" is used too loosely these days. A thug is someone who is beating people up on the street, killing people, breaking the law. I haven't heard any stories about that about Drogba. If you don't like him as a player, that's one thing. But, there are more realistic terms than "thug".
Posted Tuesday July 01, 2008, About: Celtics' free-agent focus on Posey
Boston should resign Posey definitely. His style of play fits Boston. He seems like a gets along with everybody well. So, stay and try to win another title. Tony Allen will get picked up by another team. Even though his restructured knee slowed him a little, he is still a great defender and tough. For a backup PG, I think the Celtics need to give that guard Gabe Pruitt a shot. See what he has to offer.
Posted Tuesday June 24, 2008, About: Arsenal, Inter chasing Arshavin
Arshavin and Fabregas would be a great playmaking duo, especially with Hleb basically gone. Hopefully Adebayor stays (which he probably won't) and Van Persie can stay healthy. If C. Ronaldo leaves for Real Madrid, the Premiership is open for the taking for the Gunners They were there last season, just fell off the last part of the season. If they can stay healthy, get Eduardo and Rosicky back. They'll be fine.

Here's there lineup next year if they pick him up

FW- Van Persie, Eduardo/Walcott
MF- Fabregas, Rosicky, Arshavin, Ramsey
DF- Sagna, Toure, Gallas, Clichy
GK- Almunia
Posted Friday June 20, 2008, About: Ronaldo 'dreams' about Madrid
Come on serotonin, if you watch Ronaldo play, his game is more suited to Spanish football. Of course he has dominated the Premier League, but the Spanish league is more about technical skills and precision, and that's what he shows. The EPL has that to a lesser degree, but it is more based on physicality, strength, a strong man-marking. Ronaldo and Van Nistelroy would be a devastating combination.
Posted Tuesday June 10, 2008, About: Arenas opts out, tests market
Dude can't get a $120 million contract and expect the Wiz to resign Jamison too. If he takes less, they can resign Jamison and maybe add some frontcourt depth, which is where they are lacking. Do these dudes want to win in the NBA anymore, or just get ridiculous money? Why can't he accept something like a 5 yr- 80 million deal. He would still be making 26 mil a year and they could sign other players.
Posted Friday June 06, 2008, About: Bradley headed to Middlesbrough?
Ok move, but Bradley needs to show better than what he has showed in the two U.S. friendlies against England and Spain. He has looked pretty bad.
Posted Wednesday May 28, 2008, About: Pierce sends Celtics message
Who cares! Why is this even in the Truth & Rumors section? Is there something extraordinary and stunning about Pierce trying to encourage his teammates? Man, y'all must be running out of things to talk about in this section.
Posted Thursday May 01, 2008, About: Durant's award irks Hawks
I could see Horford winning the award, but why are the Hawks players hating on Durant? The Hawks have more talent then the Sonics with Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, and later, Bibby. You put Horford on the Sonics and they would still be garbage, guaranteed. Horford didn't have to come on to the team and be the face of the franchise from day one like Durant did. But, he was solid all year long, so I could see a shared award.
Posted Wednesday April 30, 2008, About: Distractions disappoint Dirk
obamahatewhitespeople...There are no racial undertones is your post now is there (take it sarcastically). If you want to be prejudiced, do it somewhere. This is about sports! Grow up.
Posted Monday April 28, 2008, About: LeBron-Stevenson feud heats up
to "ravens" poster, actually Lebron did get a technical in Game 1 when Haywood was standing over him. And, also, did LBJ not have 5 fouls yesterday? So, the refs are making the calls. Secondly, look at the replay. Since when does a person actually going for a real blocked shot do it with a closed fist? You can't tell me Stevenson wasn't trying to hit Lebron. Why wouldn't he hit get calls and complain to the refs. Even the Wiz coach Jordan said their goal was to be physical with Lebron and give "hard" fouls. Wiz fans need to stop complaining and worry about a team that consistently loses in the first round.
Posted Monday April 21, 2008, About: TNT crew rips Dirk's toughness
Dirk should've done something. Slap his hand down, get in his face, something. The way West was tapping his face and speaking to him was disrespectful. I guarantee that Terry, Josh Howard, or Stackhouse would've done something. Man up!!!
Posted Wednesday April 02, 2008, About: Can Crean keep Gordon at IU?
Nope...Gordon's gone, even though he needs another year in college. He did nothing in the tournament or the last part of the season. Plus, IU's program is in turmoil right now.
Posted Wednesday April 02, 2008, About: Will OSU seek Self's help?
I understand Self has a history at OSU, but why would he from a Tier 1 program at Kansas to a Tier 2 program at OSU? That's a downward move. Stay at Kansas.
Posted Tuesday April 01, 2008, About: Altidore's last Red Bulls season?
He should move to a Premier league squad after the end of this season. Like the other posters said, a middle of the pack team like the Spurs, Everton, or Portsmouth would be good for him. If any of the Top 4 pick him up, he'll rot on the bench.
Posted Tuesday February 19, 2008, About: Source: Avery requested Dirk trade
Kidd was a good pickup, but not for all the Mavs gave up. Devin Harris, though not the leader, passer, and rebounder Kidd is (and he may never be), is at this stage a better defender and by far a better shooter. He will be good, just hope that him getting traded to NJ doesn't kill his confidence and growth. It might kill it because Lawrence Frank is not gonna push Harris as much as Avery. You can tell NJ is a soft team, and that is reflection of the coach. People are still gonna double Dirk and sometimes Josh Howard, and don't expect Kidd to knock down open shots off double teams. His shot is terrible!!!
Posted Tuesday February 19, 2008, About: Bulls rethinking Gordon's future?
Gordon, what were you thinking. Players think they are more valuable than they really are. Also, agents ruin careers by getting them to hold out for bigger contracts, which would increase the agent's commissions as well. Gordon, you should've taken that deal. 10 million a year on a sorry team, take it!!!
