Besides TO didn't get booted from Dallas just because of his attitude. He got jammed at the line all year long by guys 3 inches and 25lbs smaller than him. He's not what he was. Tom Landry will always be associated with the Cowboys the same as Lombardi will always be with Green Bay. Cowboy fans don't go around claiming Mike Ditka, whose hall of fame career was in Dallas. I really don't know how he's made it this long. I'd never heard of a "finesse" linebacker until him. What does that even mean? It's a contradiction like "mandatory options".

His teammates in Dallas call him Barbi Carpenter. That should say it all.

NY just isn't a football state like some of the others. Texas and Florida are the prime locations not only because of talent, but also the level of competition, and their size relative to other states. And I'm pretty sure that lately Louisiana, Alabama, and Georgia have produced far more talent than Ohio or Penn. Not saying Ohio and Penn. don't have great football traditions, but they are second tier right now.
