I don't remember this article stating that they claimed to want this coach to win them a championship. I'm fairly certain you sign a hitting coach to help players relearn some plate discipline or various other hitting techniques, no?

Not to be a homer, but it seems like Tarvaris would make sense for the Rams. Bulger gets hurt every year, they haven't had anyone decent to fill in, and he might actually get a chance to play, plus he can run, and the terrible line that they have would let him use his legs.

In all seriousness....Why the hell WOULDN'T you pick Curry if your the T-wolves? Or even Derozan? Honestly, comeplete waste.Curry could stretch the defense for Jefferson & Love, and Rubio would get his chance to play his style of play. It would be a great foundation. Why pick Flynn? We have injuries all across the board, and we're still over .500. I consider that an accomplishment. Hopefully, they can pick it up like last year, but they aren't "taking on water" very quickly. Before the sweep and 2 of 3, they had just won 4 or 5 straight previous to that. They'll be alright, maybe not dominant, but they are still an NL contender.

Unfortunately, This isn't going to happen. Wasted thread, no one is going to give up their pick for a $50 Million dollar question mark. Thats one of the main reasons the Rams would want to move down in the first place, other than getting more players.

There was a lot of hype because he was playing like a perennial all-star the last 7 before he went down. Against the Clips (yeah the clips i know), he got 42 pts and 14 rebounds. He was averaging around 30 points per game when he went down (for the previous 7 games i mean), and fans were excited. Having him come back is something to look forward to, although it's unrealistic to expect anything close to what he was producing at that point.

Release him? It's almost inevitable, but I wish they could find a different solution. At least manage a 4th round pick. He has been reliable for so long, at least get him some value out of him other than 1 Million in cap room. Who are you going to sign for 1 Million that replaces 1/10 of his talent?

Let him get out, but at least get him a way out in a business sense and get some talent in return.
