RU doesn't need motivation. They have a ton to play for, and the entire football nation knows they have a soft schedule, and haven't beaten a Div 1-A team with a winning record yet. Oh, they have plenty to get pumped up about. GO BULLS! Kion did nothing wrong, but did put some pressure on himself to play lights out football, even tho' he's injured. Time for everyone to step up. We'll be without deep threat Carlton Mitchell, but others will step up.
We improve a bit each year, and had our best recruiting class last year. UM in 2+ weeks...that'll be our biggest recruiting op in years. Canes are very talented, but have suffered bouts of inconsistency. Let's hope we get them on a flat, eratic day. GO BULLS.
Oh, and no issues with Kion's comments. RU doesn't need to get bulletin board material...they will be up for us, and looking to make a move for the Top 25.
I do catch Canes games when I can. VTech last year; GTech this year. Lots of pals at work are UM alum or fans. Wake Forrest & NC State may be your biggest challenges. But take care of business at UCF. I was there last year at the USF game...and their fans are the worst. They'll cuss your kids, and talk nasty in numbers. The upside: if the Canes jump up early, they'll leave early. If not, the aluminum stadium will literally be rocking to the point that you may fear it'll collapse. I'm serious...But it can be LOUD. Don't think I'll go, but who knows...may be fun to watch.
I argue that UCF is closer, on a Saturday and will pit a Top 10 Canes team v an upset hungry UCF, and that Canes fans WILL travel. I'm tempted to go & wear my USF jersey just to see the crowd...it's going to be LOUD & WILD.
I see the Canes coming to Tampa on 11/28 at 10-1, barring a letdown. Should be Top 5. Sadly, without help, you could be Top 5, and not even get to play in the ACC Champ Game (a scenario like the Big 12 last year).
So...are you guys coming to UCF? BRING IT!!
If you have the skills, Leavitt will put you on the field & give you a chance to play 4 years. I do agree with an earlier poster: be a stud, and you'll see the field almost anywhere.
Florida will be king for years to come in Florida, long after the Tebow years. UM is rising quickly, too. I was at the USF-FSU game, and even before the game, most fans were saying BB needs to step down & turn over the reins. People love him...he's a great person. But many feel the game has passed him by, and want a younger, energetic, progressive thinking coach (e.g. Saban, Meyer, etc....even Rich Rod or Les Miles). Bobby could turn over full control, but still be part of recruiting the "big fish" on campus tours, and promoting the school. It's time.

The hit was clean and lifted Tebow. Not an easy task. I'm sure Tebow will recover, and I won't start another debate on why he was even in the game this late, with that stout Gator D clamping down, up 24.
Seth: Hope Tebow recovers...he's a tough guy, and UF is clearly the top team. That said, Brantley could carry UF, given the D's success thus far.
UM fans, I was at the game last night. It was a lot worse than 33-17. Canes look exponentially better than last year's Canes. VTech and Okie will show if they are truly back. If they get past them, they could run the table till they get to Tampa (kidding...USF will have a hard time with them if we don't get better soon. Harris is POISED!).
GTec looked amazing v. Clemson...for nearly a half. Then, shaky. UM's D gave up a lot of yards, but swarmed to the ball. GT gashed them shamelessly last year, and broke their spirit early. This game should be telling for both teams.
Looking forward to UF-Tenn Sat...wonder if Urban will try to win by 50, or let of the throttle (yeah, who am I kidding). GO BULLS!
???adjective abounding in notable history; having an illustrious past; storied: Italy is a richly historied land.
Nice try...just sayin'
As a Bulls fan, I want us to beat UM and FSU, and win the Big East. If we stay healthy, we can do it. GO BULLS!
DE Ryne Giddins is our highest ranking recruit ever, but may redshirt due to the USF D-line depth.
Seth, you know I want someone...anyone...to drop UF this year, but I really believe that won't happen. UF is SOOO deep & talented, and Tebow/Spikes are focused on going undefeated their senior years. Their schedule is not weak this year, but it's easier than last year's. I see UF getting challenged in the SEC Champ game & NC game...but winning both.
Good luck Florida school...except when you're playing USF. GO BULLS!
Meanwhile, UM runs the table till 11/28, when Grothe & Selvie play their final game at RayJay by pounding Miami. That's my dream...but that's why they play the games!
BTW, I'm no Gator fan, but I don't see anyone beating them this year, unless some team really breaks out & takes on UF in the NC game. I hope UF doesn't win again...the UF fans at work already unbearable. But I see it happening, barring a freak upset (and Tebow/Spikes will clean up on awards...deservedly so).
