I hope Florida lays 70 on Kiffin this fall. Kiffin is the most hated coach in America and he is the biggest doucher. Al Davis is looking more and more like he still has some credibility by firing this clown.

This is not good for Notre Dame, they've already lost Pat Kuntz for the season, but this is even worse for Mr. Hand. I too was told by a doctor to stop playing when I finished High School and the feeling of someone else telling you you can't do somthing you love anymore is one of the worst feelings you could imagine.

Say what you want about Notre Dame athletics, but Notre Dame is a great academic school and Mr. Hand will be a success in life with his Notre Dame degree.

This kid Flacco is every bit as good as the draft gurus say he is. I was on the sideline for the SIU - Delaware semifinal game and he picked our defense apart. He's big and he's got a gun for an arm, he'd be a good fit in a cold weather place like Chicago. He coulda played wherever he wanted, 1A or 1AA, he's good.

I wish Notre Dame would come to Carbondale and play the Salukis. It's a damn shame that the #5 ranked Salukis come up 8,000 folks short of a sell-out in the final home game of the regular season. Maybe then we could get more than 9,000 at a home game. We'd probly beat them too.

I enjoy reading about how ND should get rid of Weis. Who are they gonna hire to replace him that is better? I'll admit he got himself into this position by playing all the juniors and seniors in his first two years and never getting the underclassman any experience. That's his fault, yes. Is it his fault that Ty couldnt recruit after his first season? Nope, that's not his fault. So all you people who think Weis should be canned can ****, you're all **** stupid. Notre Dame is better off at 1-7 with 3 consecutive top 10 recruiting classes than they were with Ty and his **** coaching and recruiting. He was terrible for Notre Dame. Notre Dame will be back. Like Charlie said, you better enjoy this now.

I'm an athletic training student at Southern Illinois University and I went with the football team to their game in Utah earlier this season. It was my first time on a plane. We hit some bad turbulence as we tried landing in Utah. At one point the plane dropped. Nobody came out of their seats, but all the same, for a first timer it was scary as hell. On the bright side, the players enjoyed it by putting their arms up like it was a rollercoaster and we landed without any problems.

This kid will fit right in at NIU: He quit on Notre Dame in the middle of the week and NIU quit with a 20 point lead in the fourth quarter against SIU (a 1-aa school) and ended up losing. They'll be perfect for each other. Quiters.

I respect the kid's choice to transfer. He clearly is not the future for ND at qb with Jimmy and the kid coming next year who some say is better than Jimmy.

I know he's from Chicago, so NIU makes sense. But I find it amusing that he goes from a school with no wins to a school who blew a 20 point lead to a 1AA team at home in the fourth quarter. Whatever though, it's his choice. I think though that he should have stayed and tryed to fight to earn the job back.

If Michigan loses to Notre Dame Saturday to start the season 0-3 with all three loses at home, the whole state may well riot. He should just resign Sunday morning if they lose to Notre Dame.

The last time Notre Dame went into the big house, they knocked Hart outta the game in the first quarter. Now he's already banged up and Zibby, no matter what you think of his coverage skills, will knock the snot outta him. Maybe the 2nd string qb and rb can fulfill his promise, but i doubt it.

I was at Brady's first game against Purdue. This was back when ND sucked under Ty and Brady got his butt kicked even worse than Jimmy did against Penn State. You knew after watching Brady a few games he was gonna be pretty good. After watching Jimmy in one game, you know he is gonna be pretty good too. If only Charlie trusted the wide receivers enough to turn him loose.

Notre Dame has a decent defense. They're arent great, but they are better than what we had last year. The final score looks lopsided and that is because the defense got tired in the second half because the offense went 3 and out so much. Either that, or Penn State's offense is simply that bad and they couldn't put up 600 yards and 40 points like LSU and USC.

If you're a Penn State fan, you shouldn't be encouraged by this win. Your offense (mostly the qb) looked bad and the defense beat up on an inexperienced offense. Congratulations on the upcoming loss to Wisconsin.
