Say what you want about Notre Dame athletics, but Notre Dame is a great academic school and Mr. Hand will be a success in life with his Notre Dame degree.
I know he's from Chicago, so NIU makes sense. But I find it amusing that he goes from a school with no wins to a school who blew a 20 point lead to a 1AA team at home in the fourth quarter. Whatever though, it's his choice. I think though that he should have stayed and tryed to fight to earn the job back.
If you're a Penn State fan, you shouldn't be encouraged by this win. Your offense (mostly the qb) looked bad and the defense beat up on an inexperienced offense. Congratulations on the upcoming loss to Wisconsin.
