Lakers better get it together soon. They are falling farther and farther from the 8th seed. I have no doubt that they'll start playin well at some point, but it won't matter if they are in too deep of a hole. We are almost at the halfway point of the season

Let's face it Nelson wasn't a great coach anyway. His main problem; he wasn't a great defensive coach, thats why he was only successful with teams that had players who already had a good understanding of defense. Minnesota is not that team

60% of NBA players won't make as much as Lebron will over his career. By the time he retires he'll continue makin plenty of money off of endorsements. He won't go broke, yer just hatin buddy

Better speak for yourself. If he came back and won a championship for Cleveland they would love him all over again. Don't gimme that bull___

Why do u say exception LBJ? What has he done to make you say he doesn't have good character?
Posted Monday August 06, 2012, About: Pierce ready to walk after contract
Yes but you're talking about 1 game now. I'm talking about a 7 game series where you get 4 games at home and they get 3. Having that close out game at home has nothing to do with he point I'm making.
Posted Monday August 06, 2012, About: Pierce ready to walk after contract
5-6 games doesn't mean anything. Celts were 21-19 after 40 games. Miami was 31 -9 (the same record Boston had the yr before after 40 games might I add). Thats 10 games back. The last 26 games of the season Boston's record was about the same as Miami's. And as i noted it wasn't until Pierce got in shape that the C's started playing better
Posted Monday August 06, 2012, About: Pierce ready to walk after contract
It would have been a great indicator had he came to camp in shape. Especially since everyone else did. he wasn't worn down, he just sat on his a__ all summer thinking there was going to be a strike
Posted Monday August 06, 2012, About: Pierce ready to walk after contract
Didn't say that he hasn't. That means nothing to me considering what he's doing right now
Posted Monday August 06, 2012, About: Pierce ready to walk after contract
I believe they would have repeated too if KG was healthy. Thats the only year I gave you. But Perk getting hurt i can't. Again if Pierce would have had that MVP performance that we had seen before in game 7, they would have won with or without Perk. I just say that because he was capable back then, but now I'm not so sure.

You're missing my point. I'm not saying he is the ONLY reason they lost. But in order for them to win he had to be the best player for the Celtics, closing out games and playing at least decent defense. It's those epic performances, like he had against lebron when they beat Cleveland, that a team needs from their superstar. He doesn't do that anymore and hasn't done it since 08. Therefore, time to let him go.

Professionalism:
After they won the title, Pierce is a player that always started the season out of shape (the only of the big 3 might I add). It wasn't a problem until last year because they usually still have the best record but they had to fight and scratch this year just to get to the 4 seed. Now had Pierce came into the season in shape and led this team to a better record (like he did in 08!) maybe they have home court against Miami and beat them this year.

Note: It wasn't until the middle of the season when Pierce finally started playing better that the Celtics got rolling and started winning again

Rondo's injury:
they weren't gonna win that series whether rondo was hurt or not
Posted Monday August 06, 2012, About: Pierce ready to walk after contract
Only KG's injury...
They should have won the year Perk got hurt in game 7. The real reason they lost that game was because Pierce was matched by the artist formerly known as Ron Artest. Now when you're the team MVP you have to outplay the person you're matched up against
Posted Monday August 06, 2012, About: Pierce ready to walk after contract
I hope he leaves... Although he was the man when they won their championship in 08, He's also the reason Boston hasn't won a championship since then.
Posted Monday July 12, 2010, About: NBA pioneer: LeBron 'a genius'
Yes Charles played in the Jordan era. And Lebron is playing in the Kobe era. Not to mention he cant even get to the finals to play Kobe. So whats the difference?

Lets say Charles went to the Knicks and played with Ewing. Wouldn't that increase his chance of getting at least one ring?
Posted Monday July 12, 2010, About: NBA pioneer: LeBron 'a genius'
For those who are hating on lebron u should look at barkley as a good example. He said that he would have stayed there and tried to do it by himself. Proving that Lebron did the right thing because...

CHARLES DOESN'T HAVE A RING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
