What language is that? It sure is not English.

BC students would never do that. Go Eagles!

Where's Gariboy today? There are few things better in life than watching BC hand another loss to ND. That's six in a row, kids. Imagine what BC could do if it got these 5-stars who instead go to ND and waste away for four years.

The announcers during the BC-ND game made note of the two bodyguards who now flank Weis during games to prevent another collision. If the bodyguards really want to help Charlie, they should slap out of his hands all of those Egg McMuffins and bowls of ice cream that he ingests every day.

"we were." Crepe. Nothing like six beers and a twitchy finger to ruin a good joke.

"Listen, Walker - Make this field goal or, so help me God, I will eat you like we stranded together on an island for 20 minutes."

Eyeswideopen:

Sorry. You're right, but I do research things. In fact, I was distracted by a couple of side research projects that I have, so I couldn't fully concentrate. The first involves counting all of the FSU players that are on academic probation and should have been suspended from the team by Week 3 of the 2007 season, but they got help from the school in keeping it quiet until the team made a bowl (with the help of the players that should have not been playing in the first place, BTW). I think I'm somewhere in the 20s by now. The second project involves trying to decipher everything that FSU alum Deion Sanders ever has said in front of a camera.

Daggum it to you.

Proudhater:

"[A]ny coach in the country would be doing the same thing, he is not going out on a limb here." You could not be more wrong. NCAA football history is loaded with examples of coaches and other members of football programs covering up for their players. If this kid was at FSU, Miami, South Carolina, or Texas, for example, he probably would have been given eight or nine strikes before anyone took real action.

I hate ND like Weis hates the size of the portions at a French restaurant, but Charlie and the school absolutely did the right thing here. Playing NCAA football (on scholarship, no less) is a privilege, not a right.

Kudos to ND for doing the right thing. The drinking is no big deal, but the DUI, false informing, and resisting arrest are. A lot of schools with lesser character (you know who you are, Penn State and a host of other schools in the South and West), would have taken this lightly or tried to find some way to cover it up.

No Weis fat-jokes today, Sexton, just a ticket from the spelling police: It's "you're over your head." "You are" = "you're."
Posted Wednesday September 24, 2008, About: Mementos of Vick's son sold to pay bills
If it were legal to do so, upon seeing Vick's dogs, I would have put a bullet between Vick's eyes immediately. Anyone engaged in that business is a loathsome animal and deserves to be treated as such. Over three dozen injured and/or malnurished dogs were found at his house. Vick personally financed the operation and ordered the death of who-knows-how-many dogs. With any luck, once he gets out of federal prison, he'll have to answer for the state charges in Virginia and do another five years in the clinky.

As for those African Americans who continue to worship and make excuses for this POS, you are doing yourselves and your people a disservice. People like Vick, O.J., the ex-Mayor from Detroit, and others cut from the same cloth are a cancer and should be cut away from the body of the Black community. You do not stop cancer from growing by embracing it.

I sympathize with Golic. How many times can you watch your dad shake his fat ayess at the camera in a Nutrasystem commercial before you need to pound a couple dozen Busch Lights?

Awesome.
Posted Thursday September 18, 2008, About: Weis 'worked up' before game
Sexton: I got into ND and chose BC instead. Academically, the schools are on par with one another. That being the case, why would someone choose to go to school in the middle of a cow pasture when he/she could go to an equivalent school that's a three-minute cab ride from downtown Boston and the ocean? Charlie has had experience in both areas of the country. Perhaps ND has the better food.
Posted Wednesday September 17, 2008, About: Weis 'worked up' before game
ND in my Blood: Stop with the "no class" nonsense, you moron. Do you know what's classless? Suing one's gastro surgeons after being warned that the tummy-stapling operation was dangerous and then having Tom Brady testify as a character witness for the obvious purpose of trying to influence the jury. Give me a break. As for the "transparent envy" of ND, you really need to back off the weed.

I don't know about anyone else, but when I saw Charlie go down, I had visions of Luke Skywalker launching those photon torpedos into the exhaust vent.
Posted Monday September 15, 2008, About: Weis 'worked up' before game
The game was a joke. The Wolverines couldn't even beat themselves off at this point. The first two touchdowns were a gift by the slippery-fingered Michigan kick-return crew. The third was a gift from the officiating crew, which (as the announcers agreed) charged the Michigan DB with a bullsh-t pass-interference penalty on a 50+ yard toss. Michgan had more running yards and passing yards than ND. A win is a win, but if the ND faithful believe that this game was some indication that ND has arrived, they are sorely mistaken. ND still blows. Even a broken clock is right twice per day.
Posted Monday September 15, 2008, About: Weis to recruit after surgery
What dopey doctor is going to operate on this guy? Fatty already sued one doctor for a failed gastric-bypass operation (and lost at trial, thankfully). Keep in mind that each of his legs needs to support 300+ lbs, so the chances are high that the surgery will fail.
Posted Monday September 15, 2008, About: Weis 'worked up' before game
Weis was "worked up" before the game? He probably had for breakfast only four Egg McMuffins instead of eight to keep the hunger pains going and fuel that competitive fire.

"UGA has been on the way up both academically and in sports for the last 10 years. "

Listen, knucklehead. We're talking about the UGA football team. Facts are facts, and the facts are that the UGA football program's graduation rate is abysmal. As late as last year, it was under 50% and under 25% if you happen to be a black guy. Let's not kid ourselves here. Like Penn State, FSU, and a whole host of others, UGA has made academics a back-seat issue when compared with getting "athletes" on the field. It also looks like your boys have a hard time staying out of jail: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/preview08/news/story?page=bottom1008preseason
