Wow, New York Post. Do any of their writers have any idea what they are talking about? If Lebron ends up in New York, it'll be because of the market and exposure, not a free agent who the Knicks aren't signing.

Huh. I didn't know his numbers were that... average. And he won because Boston was good that year, and people thought he was their best player.... sort of like the Heisman is now. Who doesn't love leprachauns? I mean, they have pots of gold... and Lucky Charms.

And I'd take Cano over Pedroia on the Indians simply because his contract is lower, which means Dolan would have more money to spend elsewhere.

Absolutely. I wasn't saying that Papelbon or Wright were better than Jeter or Rivera. That would be ridiculous. If you read the comment before, the Yankee guy pretty much listed off 12 "home grown" Yankee players and said they were better than anybody Boston or NYM brought up, which is obviously crap.

And yes, Pedroia is better than Cano. Not even close.... 2008 AL MVP?

I don't remember Hughes, Aceves, or Robertson pitching much in the WS, other than that blowout in Game 6. I saw more of Rivera and Marte.

Are you so blinded by your homerism that you think Melky Cabrera is a better player than Pedroia or David Wright?

If you read the first comment, I was pointing out that the Yankees guy listed like 12 players for the Yankees home grown talent. I said that other than Jeter or Pettite, the other guys he listed from Boston and the Mets were better than any of the other 10 Yankees, and those 10 did nothing in helping the team win the WS. I don't think you can argue that a guy like Papelbon isn't better than Joba.

Yankees fan.... Lebron isn't going anywhere, and it certainly won't be to play for the terrible Knicks. And the Blue Jackets have a winning record, thank you very much. Yeah, my teams are struggling, but at least we have class and don't buy championships. You are just so blinded by your love for the Yankees that you can't accept that they bought a title. Reyes and Wright are waaaaay more talented INDIVIDUALLY than Joba or Coke. Use your brain.

Once again, I'm not talking about who bought the World Series. I'm just pointing out to stupid Yankee fan here that individually, the other teams he listed have brought up better players. And Ortiz signed with Boston in 2002 after leaving Minny... and the deal wasn't huge, if I recall correctly.

Im glad not all Yankee fans are as stupid as you. Other than Jeter, Cano, Pettite, and Hughes, every player on your Yankees list sucks and does nothing. What about A-Rod, CC, Burnett, and Tex? Those guys won the WS, and the Yankees bought all 4 of them.

Josh Bard came up with Cleveland, not Boston. And he is currently a free agent. and btw, those guys you listed for the Mets and Red Sox are better than every single Yankee you listed other than Jeter or Pettite.
