Hey now you guys know how Vancouver felt when Heisley stole the Grizzlies away. Move the team back to Vancouver.
Posted Monday November 28, 2011, About: Nene, Nash on Heat's radar?
I still think a LeBron for Howard swap would benefit both teams. Wade gets his team back and Howard/Bosh instantly becomes the best frontcourt in the league, taking feeds from Wade. Smaller-market Orlando gets LeBron to fill the building, they haven't had a superstar like that since Shaq, and if being dealt from Miami to Orlando doesn't get LeBron angry and motivated than surely nothing will.

You know the NBA's back when every player in the league is being linked to miami
Posted Monday October 24, 2011, About: Red Sox covet Blue Jays manager
1) The Jays have money. They are owned by the largest corporation in Canada that is worth billions and billions of dollars. Also the Canadian dollar is worth far more these days than the US dollar.
2) If I'm the Jays I start off asking for Ellsbury, Pedroia or Gonzalez. Of course they won't give them, but that's my starting point. Because if I'm the Toronto brass I want to make a point to the cocky SOBs in Red Sox nation: you can't just buy whoever you choose from your rivals and treat us like your farm system, and we're going to make you pay through the nose if you really want this. Hell I'd ask them for a prospect just to SPEAK to Farrell, which would make my point of "go screw off" quite clear to the Red Sox.

Rob Ford and his equally idiotic brother are a disgrace to my city. I still can't believe how many stupid people voted this man into office.
Posted Friday December 24, 2010, About: T-Mac loves the boos, rips Bosh
It wasn't that he left, it was that he never even gave us a chance to re-sign him after making noise about how the Raptors were in the mix and would have every chance to re-sign him, and then bolted so fast he didn't even clean out his apartment here. I was at an open practice that season and the fans started chanting "Come Back T-Mac!" and even gave him some gift or something from the fans and the organization. Looking back, I remember his face that day ... he had this really awkward smile. He was already gone.

Posted Tuesday October 26, 2010, About: Manny makes pitch to play for Jays
Here's the thing: Manny LOVES to hit at SkyDome. He's made it his personal playground over the years. I was at the game where he hit one above the hotel windows in left field, this was longer than Canseco's fabled blast in the 1989 playoffs. If the Dome was an open stadium to the outfield that ball would have ended up two blocks away from the park.
That said ... he may love hitting here but he's pretty well finished. I wouldn't even consider it unless it's a literal one-year deal for about $5 million with incentives. And even then he's taking away at-bats from some pretty good young hitters who are the future of Toronto, so it's still not really worth the risk.

Posted Sunday August 22, 2010, About: King Felix destined to be a Yankee?
And if you go read the full article, this writer says in no small words that soon "Cliff Lee will be here, and then we'll welcome Halladay, etc." Again, this is not journalism, this is garbage work and an embarrassment to the true reporters out there.
Posted Sunday August 22, 2010, About: King Felix destined to be a Yankee?
I am a journalism student. I want to be in sports journalism. Who knows, I could even end up covering the Yankees if that's the job available.
This article once again proves why I will never write for the New York Post or New York Daily News. All they do is print random rumours about the home teams linking every player imaginable to them. This isn't journalism, this is lazy crap from a clearly biased Yankee writer and a sorry excuse for reporting.
Although you have to admit, they do know how to cater to their readership.
