Weatherford can't make plays w/ his arm or his legs. Plus he holds on to the ball too long. All of that makes for a recipe for disaster w/ our O-line. Lee may run the wrong play sometimes and need extra tutoring and miss practice due to that and make more mistakes, but he makes plays that Weatherford is incapable of making. We gotta stick w/ Lee, he has much more to offer, our receivers seem to drop fewer balls and play harder and better when he's the QB, and the more he plays the better he'll get.

I blame Alex Gonzalez more than Bartman for the collapse in '03. The Cubs are the most well-rounded team in the NL. There's no such thing as a stupid curse, and you make your own luck. As far as the Cubs not deserving to be in the playoffs...that was a pretty asinine statement. Don't blame the Cubs that the sorry **** Brew crew couldn't hold a sizable division lead.

Some of our other players seem to step up their game a notch when Lee's in too. DeCody comes to mind. He can't catch a cold when Weatherford's the QB, but w/ Lee in there, he played pretty well.

Let me start by saying it sure was a great weekend for college football! Anytime the Gaytors lose and the 'Noles win I consider it a great college football weekend, but besides those things happening, it was a crazy weekend w/ a lot of great games. Lee should be our starter. I was for Weatherford before, but Lee is capable of making many more plays. He makes more mistakes than Weatherford, but he makes a TON more plays. The more he plays, the fewer mistakes he'll make too. I'm excited about the rest of the season, Go 'Noles!

Lee def. has a lot of talent, but when he's in the game he makes too many mistakes and is too inaccurate and inconsistent overall. We can win w/ Weatherford and I think that the playcalling has been noticeably much better this season (no surprise there). Once our team's talent level is back to where it was in the '90's, we'll be a top 5 team again w/ the coaching staff that we have now. God bless Bobby, but the sooner he retires, the better. He and Joe Pa are both being pretty selfish about the all-time wins thing. I just hope neither guy dies on the field on national TV. Joe Pa already pooped his pants last year.

I don't think we need to get Lee in the game this weekend. Weatherford has played well this season, it's just that the receivers have dropped a lot of passes that he's thrown perfectly. The O-line still needs improvement too. And we should definitely get the ball to Parker more often, by any means possible.

As Hank Hill would say, "Dang it, Bobby!" Geno probably deserved a harsher punishment, maybe 1 or 2 game suspension. We'll continue to improve as the season progresses, our players are still getting used to the new offense and Carr and **** need to stop dropping passes. We have a decent chance against 'Bama this weekend. Go 'Noles!

I have full confidence in Jimbo Fisher, and if he believes that Weatherford is the man for the job, I agree. I think that the main reason FSU's QB's have played poorly over the past few years is that the old offensive coaching staff did an extremely poor job of developing and coaching them. I can't wait to see the offensive improvements, only 10 days till the Clemson game. GO NOLES!!!!!

As legend and jim said, the O-line needs to improve its play. I believe that some other reasons FSU's QB's have performed relatively poorly in the past few years were poor coaching and playcalling. The offensive coaching staff has been drastically improved this offseason, so I expect to see better QB play from Weatherford and Lee.

The NBA is a joke. It's almost as rigged as the WWE. College basketball is much better to watch than the NBA. NBA basketball puts me to sleep and Stern has the refs officiate games to determine the outcome that he prefers anyway.

USC guy...who's paying off the witnesses? Why do there seem to be so many witnesses saying that he was involved? CD...are you implying that the prosecutors are telling the witnesses, "OK, if you lie and say that you saw Vick at dogfights and say that you know that he was involved, we'll let you plea out to lesser charges, etc."? Do you know how ridiculous all of that sounds? There is no conspiracy here to "get" Michael Vick. Let common sense prevail and don't base your opinion on your emotions and your love for the guy as a football player and you may come to the same conclusion. He has dug his own grave. ANYBODY, regardless of race, who's involved in dogfighting is a dirtbag and should be thrown in jail. Where there's smoke, there's fire, and all of the evidence reported so far seems to indicate that Vick WAS involved in dogfighting.

To the people here who have compared hunters to those who participate in and/or condone dogfighting...you're clearly retarded. Hunters do not derive pleasure from torturing the animals that they hunt, and most hunters eat the animals that they kill.

And anybody who's not a vegan who's comparing hunting or slaughtering animals for food to dogfighting has no moral high ground for that ridiculous argument anyway. Animals that are slaughtered for food or hunted are killed as humanely as possible the vast majority of the time, but Vick and his **** buddies allegedly killed dogs by slamming them to the ground and by electrocuting them. Hardly humane, not to mention that the animals were also tortured by being forced to fight each other before they were killed.

To those who believe that Vick is innocent, ask yourselves these questions:

Why would these witnesses lie? Why have there been anonymous tips over the past 5 YEARS that Vick is involved in dogfighting? How could he not be aware of what's going on at a property that he owns?

I'm not a Falcons fan, but Vick is an overrated QB anyway and the sooner the Falcons cut ties w/ him, the better for them.

There have been a number of FSU players drafted in recent years that are now solid pros. Ernie Sims, Darnell Dockett, and Anquan Boldin come to mind. Greg Jones has had injury problems, and Broderick Bunkley and Antonio Cromartie should see more playing time this season. Pat Watkins has been a bit of a disappointment, but he wasn't drafted high anyway, plus he plays for the Cowgirls, a team that most people (myself included) hate. Hate all you want, but like it or not, the 'Noles will be back to their winning ways w/ in the next season or two w/ their vastly improved offensive coaching staff! GO 'NOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd love to see Corey back in Philly. He has always been a very good player when healthy and he is one of the true good guys in the NFL. He was one of my favorites at FSU and in Philly. He helped the 'Noles win a national championship in '99, and I'd love to see him help the Eagles win a Superbowl!

Rafalski is overrated, Souray would be a good pickup. Gomez will be hard to replace, but if the Devils can get some better defensemen, the team will tougher to beat in the playoffs next season.

Joe Pa is a legend and an all-around good guy. So is Bobby Bowden. Both men are being pretty selfish by sticking around way too long to the detriment of the Penn State and Florida State programs. Nobody is going to care who retires w/ the most wins, both coaches will be remembered as legends and all-time greats. Neither coach really coaches anymore, they're just the figureheads of the programs. Hopefully one of them doesn't drop dead on the field during a game. For the good of their families and their programs, both men should retire ASAP.
