Here's something to think about. What if the Eagles look just like they have for the past two or three years....because players shape the team more than the coach?
*Don't look at the grown men destroying their brains, the NFL is apparently saying -- well unless you can do it while feeling the hit in your remote controlled chair while you watch the collision in slow-motion replay on your iPhone while half naked women dance on an 80-yard high definition screen.*
We might not like it, but that statement is absolutely the truth for many NFL owners and NFL executives.
When the owner starts referring to you as an asset your days are limited. Garrett might coach all of this year, but you can be sure Jerry has entered the codes and has his thumb on the launch button.
I doubt there were supposed to be any rules telling the players to walk through the play. If it was a walk through they'd all know it. It wasn't. Again, just a veteran being lazy. Maybe a telling reason why the Bucs weren't very good last year.
Yep. He's a tough guy, but four surgeries on a forearm have got to leave it weaker. What's going to happen to that arm the first time a linebacker or safety hits it flush?
That doesn't even bring the back into the picture. Surgery on a back doesn't always make it better.
The only way he'll get a decent job after Jerry fires him after this year would be to show some stones and tell Jerry what he really thinks. No way he gets fired during the season so basically he's got a free run. IF the Cowboys happen to have a decent year and make the playoffs Jerry might take his thumb off the launch button.
Glennon is 6'7", he weighs 218 pounds. He's got a 26" vertical, short arms and small hands. Dude is going to get broken when he takes a solid hit which he will because he's slow (4.94 40).
Total waste of a pick.....
Besides....Sanchez might have done well in Tampa....away from the circus.
