Also, no offense to Buffalo fans, but it's common knowledge that the Bills are the most ready to pack up for another town. That would be one heck of a road trip.

Shouldn't have let the teams go in the first place.

I highly doubt anyone who was an administrator in LA when the Raiders left is still working there. How is anyone in LA now responsible for what happened 14 years ago? You can't just say the whole city should continue to be penalized for the failings of officials who aren't even still in office.
Posted Wednesday February 27, 2008, About: Billick never got reason for firing
This is a stupid title by FanNation. He didn't say he "never got a reason for firing", he said he never got a reason why the commitment from management changed in a day. Bisciotti told him he would be back, two days later he was fired. He never got a reason for it. That's what he said. Deride his impotent offenses as much as you want people, but he's not so stupid as to not understand why the management wanted him gone, he just wasn't told why they changed their minds. That's the story.

Committing penalties is CHEATING. The Ravens are CHEATERS.

Three! | 12/07/07

This is hilarious. Is there anything that's too far of a stretch for you to say? Okay, so "committing penalties is cheating"... so in other words, your team once again got away with tons of cheating on Monday night? Wait I remember you, you're that guy that was on the sidelines with a camera in the Jets game. No wonder you're such an angry little elf.

The question wasn't whether or not Baltimore deserved the calls against them (we did) in the end, but why in God's name the refs ignored all of the Pats offensive holding throughout the game. Go back and watch the tape - practically every time they actually picked up the blitz it was because they were holding.

Hey Pats fans - I'd rather be a crybaby than a cheater! SPYGATE!

All of these broad generalizations are not helping anything. All you're doing is incensing people for no good reason. Statements like (pardon my paraphrasing) "black culture is the problem" or "you people" on both sides is only contributing to racial tension and suspicion. No one is going to think "Oh, I sound like the racist kind of person he's talking about. Maybe I'll change my mind." or "I'm black and I dress and act inappropriately, maybe I should stop." All we're going to do is keep yelling at each other about things that are too non-specific to make any difference. I don't care if Steve Beuerlein was thinking of race when he said the word "thug", and neither should you. It doesn't matter either way. He's just a guy and you're just a person, get over it and move on. If somebody calls YOU a thug, then go do something about it. Stop bogging down society with these idiotic attempts at soap-boxing about people you've never met and never will, and start paying attention to your own lives for once. This dialog is as productive as a juiced-up hamster on a hamster wheel.

"Ray 'Homicide' Lewis"

I must've missed something... was he convicted? Oh no, that's right, every single witness said that he didn't do anything. So how did he get that middle name I wonder... oh right, because some people still can't believe that a black man can be arrested and found innocent in America. If it was Brett Favre, America would've been falling over backwards to believe he was innocent. I mean they've already looked past the fact that he was an abusive alcoholic, right?

"Just give me Costas, Collinsworth, and The Bus to lighten things up, with a sprinkling of Peter "Everyone denies what I report" King."

So you're taking Tom Coughlin's word over the most respected journalist in football? What are they putting in the water over there in NY?
Posted Thursday September 06, 2007, About: Terps QB copied off student
" I find it interesting that this guy is a 'former' student. That makes for a pretty convenient time to come out with this, doesn't it? I guess he didn't have the testicular fortitude to stand up in the middle of the pop quiz and say, 'No Portis! Stop copying my answers!'. "

Yeah, stand up over a stupid pop quiz and overnight become the most hated kid on campus. You wanna know why he waited until he wasn't there anymore? There you go.
Posted Thursday September 06, 2007, About: Ravens prefer Boller over Leftwich
""Granted he was cheered when he got hurt" Thats all that really needs being said. I sure as hell would not return to a town where fans behave this way. Not liking a guy or his play is one thing but to cheer when he is hurt.I would pack my bags if I were KB."

Don't throw all of the Ravens fans in with the select few morons who cheered his injury at the game. Every town has morons, and if Boller can't handle it then he should play better. That's the best way to get the knuckleheads anywhere to shut up.
