If they don't sign Laviolette I will be the first in line to cancel my season tickets... Out team needs to grow not to re-build (I already been there through the Greensboro rebuilding days where all the good players were looking forward leaving NC.)

The funny thing about couching is that if the Canes would have made the playoffs Laviolete will be the hero for helping the young players develop into our team culture and Rutherford could have been the executive of the year for picking up Sansonov, and trading for Corvo and Rutuu. (Considering how many of our impact players were hurt: Justin Williams, Rod Brind'amour, Ray Whitney, Mat Cullen, Chad Larose, Cory Stillman, etc.etc.etc... I lost count at 350+ man lost to injury players. we truly did not do to bad)

Breaking news to Mr. Emery: If I was a bad driver I won't be driving anything to attract attention... I had a 1969 Dark red Mustang Cobra II with 13" 50 wheels, the car sat about 4 inches from the ground, when I drove that car every cop on the city was staring at me and I NEVER got pulled over... Oh wait, maybe is just that Ray Emery likes the attention????

Satcmo: you are the living proof that IGNORANCE is the mother of segregation, racism, etc... How many times have you evern been in Canada, do you know anything about their people, their culture? Learn a little before you judge... I'm from Cancun Mexico and have forgotten more about other cultures that you will ever know in your life time!!!

POKING: there is a HUGE difference between "drinking with your best friends and making noise" in your own bachelor's party (like the Stall brothers) and going to a night club (aka strip club), stealing a purse and lying to the police... If you don't think there is a difference you should try to find a mirror and take a deep look at yourself!

Carolina hurricanes fans we wish Zednick a quick recovery... I aslo want to commend the NHL because my wife worked for a hospital for many years and if they did not know all his information in advance (Blood type, etc.) The hospital would never (ever) had enough time to have the blood ready and save his life.

Carolina is one or two defenseman away from having a very good team (We are already one of the highest scoring teams in the NHL even when our entire "D" has 5 or 6 goals for the season)
We don't have many choices when it comes to a defenseman playing the point on the power play... I hope Mr. Karmanos kicks his own butt for trading Johnson last year!!!
