That is a list of the Q.B.'s this year that recieved opportunities to start who are not as good and do not have the track record of Kerry Collins. Collins is an established player in this league who has taken 3 teams to the playoffs, two to conference championship games, and one to the Superbowl. Looking at that list it becomes clear that he DESERVES to be HANDED a starting job somewhere. I don't blame him for not wanting to be a backup, at this point in his career he can clearly see the finish line and he wants to sprint through it rather than being a passive observer. Granted he's not an all time great but give the man time and he's still a great thrower. He's got a strong, accurate arm, throws a beautiful spiral and a very catchable ball. The lack of quality Q.B.'s in the NFL suggests to me that this man is a legitimate starter.
