As long as they include "re-evaluating" their special teams coach as well. I thought they brought Bates in to begin to pass rush more and I saw just as little with that than I have the past couple of seasons.

The offense will only get better when the defense can put more pressure on teams and get them better field position.

With the incidents with the NBA refs you would think that officials in all sports would try and not draw extra attention to themselves.

On the other hand how easy is it for a player to say an official is lying and then pointing out the fact that officials haven't been the most honest recently.

I dont get all the Hamlin bashing. The kids done nothing but race his tail off to become one of the better drivers this year. He got impatient in a race and accidentally wrecks Kyle and turns into a villain. He's still a young driver who has a lot of pressure on him contending for the championship. I know Kyle also has a lot riding on this season but his helmet slapping was embarrassing for both of them.

It's not worth A&B time and money to convince dedicated beer drinkers to change their minds. I would be interested in their research as to why they think there are not enough young people following the sport. Maybe someone that has been to a race this year can inform us if they notice the age demographics.

If NASCAR isn't bringing in new and younger viewers they could be in trouble down the road.

Tony - Your age group has already chosen what beer they will be drinking. It's incredible difficult to switch dedicated beer drinkers. BUT if they can get new drinkers (for legal reasons those who are just turning 21 and more importantly women) to relate to Kahne as a Bud guy then they are taping into the young market and creating life long Budweiser drinkers.

I may be wrong but if you are a Bud drinker (as I am) I don't see you switching to another brand just because Kahne is now driving the Bud car.

Frankly Budweiser could car less if you don't like the change because they know that you are already a Bud drinker and will probably stay that way.

The Rockies are on the verge of being a contender it would be a huge mistake if they let Holliday go. This year they had a ton of injuries or else they could be in the Wild Card lead.

They have a good core of players a few tweaks here and there and if more guys can stay healthy they should be good. If anything they should look to ship Helton in order to keep Holliday.

It's frustrating to watch the Twins constantly leaving men on base and hitting into double plays.

It's a great feel good story when the Twins do well with such a small payroll but unfortunately you need to spend some bank to bring in bats whose last name isn't White

Yeah I wish Kasey was a more rugged looking beer drinker like Ricky Craven and Wally Dallenbach.

Kasey was a great fit for Budweiser and was a smart marketing move. He can get wins and appeals to both genders. There's not a lot of other drivers who are young, talented, and liked by the majority of fans.
