"Funny thing is........All you people that are downing him would cheer the loudest if he came and helped "your" team win football games."

that's a load of ****. If Vick went to my team there's no way I would cheer for him. Even in the super bowl.

No more hip problems for 'ol Matty in Baltimore. Ahh, nice real grass, right boy?
Posted Thursday March 05, 2009, About: It's Vikings or Ravens for Birk
Godspeed, Birky. I imagine he's on to something, being a Harvard Grad and everything...I'll miss him terribly as a Minn. fan, but I suppose I can't blame him for leaving. It looks like The Vikings NFC North leading offensive line will be downgraded a notch, but there's still hope for Minnesota.

How come we haven't heard anything about Dustin Pedroia's brother? He go hauled into jail a month ago for two counts of oral copulation with a boy under the age of 14. Nice. Funny how it wasn't all over ESPN

Posted Monday February 23, 2009, About: Halladay faces Jays dilemma
Cliff Lee had more wins and a better ERA which won him the CY Young, but Doc had more Ks, Innings Pitched, and Complete Games. Halladay also had less run support than Lee. Throw in Halladays insane WHIP and the fact that he pitches in the AL East(He had a One Hitter against the Yanks last year. No way Lee would have done that well) and I think it's clear who the superior pitcher is.
Posted Tuesday February 17, 2009, About: Will Jays shop Halladay at trade deadline?
yeah um there's no way the Jays will trade him to anyone in the AL East, or the AL at all. I don't want to even think about it, but if it does happen he'll go somewhere in the NL. I don't want to think about it....Truth is he's the best pitcher in baseball, and if he was a Yank or Sock the media would be all over him.
Posted Tuesday February 03, 2009, About: Jays interested in Millar
He's not going to take over at first base full time. Riccardi is not an idiot, though some public comments point the other direction. Most likely Millar will come off the bench as a DH/1B. Overbay is a much better fielder and hitter when healthy.

Posted Wednesday October 22, 2008, About: Knicks' Curry in D'Antoni's doghouse
Isiah didn't make a lot of bombs???? Are you kidding me? I'm a Knicks fan and I couldn't believe he wasn't fired much earlier. The contracts some of these scrubs got from the Knicks are unbelievable.
Posted Friday July 11, 2008, About: Favre a perfect fit for Vikings?
No
Posted Friday July 11, 2008, About: Phillies getting closer to Burnett
Although I'd like to drop AJ now, when the Jays can actually get something for him, I don't think it will happen because of the recent injury to Dustin McGowan, and Shawn Marcum. Since Parrish is already up, the Jays minor league options are thin.

.""This guy is Toronto's Carl Pavano, except he pitched a few more innings. I'm glad he turned down the Orioles,..." Yeah I agree that he's injury prone, a career .500 and has command issues, but at least he has SOME sucess, especially considering his division. He has a no-hitter under his belt, and he owns the Red Sox. Pavano will go down as one of the worst signing in sports history. Burnett? Not the best signing by the Jays brass, but no where near the mistake Pavano was.
Posted Tuesday May 13, 2008, About: Manny: I'm best Boston leftfielder ever
He's a hall of famer. I wish he played left field for my team. But he won't make the hall for his defense. His outfielding blunders have been atrocious.

"The people of Minnesota should be ashamed. That Viking organization is a disgrace."

NASCARisdumb you have chosen to make private your identity and your following, which leads me to believe you are a packer fan. Lions fans are usually more proud, as are bear fans.

Posted Monday March 24, 2008, About: Blue Jays closer not yet ready
Funny, funny stuff. Almost as hilarious as Carl Pavano. That was a great, great move by the yanks. Seriously though, Any Yankee/Sox fan should blush at their teams similar blunders.

" When do they give up on this guy???
sday4x45"
ummm. Well his first year as a Jay he did this: 38 SVs (3rd in the AL),1.37 ERA (2nd among AL relievers), ranked 3rd among relievers allowing a .169 BA...etc it's all taken from MLB.com. They signed him to a 5 yr, 47 mil contract, and they are sticking with him because he has the stuff/numbers to be a dominant closer again. Sure, he could never be the same and fail to shut down batters in the ninth, but he also could come back and **** ****. up. Closers are a rare breed. Paplebon could be a Gagne, or he could be Mariano. Same as BJ, So give him another year. And then post your query.
Posted Monday March 24, 2008, About: Blue Jays offer Johnson to Mets
Godspeed, RJ. I'm gonna miss the guy. Prior to his back injury he had the best season of his career. He hustles more than anyone one on the field. When it came to the little things, he was always there. Who else could cover right and center field, stick out that elbow for a HBP, and bunt better than anyone else('sides Ichiro) in the AL? I like Stewart's bat a bit more, and life will go on, but ****. Reed Johnson has balls. Man. Damn.
Posted Saturday March 15, 2008, About: Mets-Jays trade brewing?
Yea you can't put a price on what an 100% Reed does on the field. Hopefully the Jays can get something for Stewart and start the season with the Johnson/Stairs platoon.
Posted Tuesday March 04, 2008, About: Report: Favre has decided to retire
This is great news. Now the Vikings are clearly the best team in the NFC north. Excellent.
