Peyton will be back. He's pissed and has a point to prove. A smart owner will ride him for three good years.

Flynn? You really don't know which scenario you will get. Warner or Kolb. Hasselbeck or Beck. Not worth the hassle or the beck.
I don't even pay attention to opening day of baseball. I don't pay attention to baseball scores until the payoffs, and then only marginally.

But I read about football all year and watch NFL Network programming all year. I try to beat Peter King in his challenge (not hard), and even dabbled in fantacy football this year for the first time.

No challenge. Not even close. NFL!!

The argument for Peyton: win 10+ games per season with him for 10 years - win none w/o him. Same cast of players, for the most part. Add Peyton and go to the playoffs!

Of course, usually a player has to play during the season to win MVP.

#1 has got to be Hershel Walker from Cowboys to Vikings! In 1989, at the height of his NFL career, the Cowboys traded Walker to the Minnesota Vikings for a total of five players (LB Jesse Solomon, DB Issiac Holt, RB Darrin Nelson, LB David Howard, DE Alex Stewart) and six draft picks (which led to Emmitt Smith, Russell Maryland, Kevin Smith, and Darren Woodson). This was judged to be one of the turning points in the rise of the Cowboys to the top echelon of the NFL. Clarification - worst trade ever for Vikings. Best trade ever for Cowboys. Walker played for the Vikings for two and a half years, never amassing 1,000 rushing yards in a season.
