That's like a coal miner suing his company for black lung disease. There's just some jobs that come with risk. If the players case was able to proceed it would ultimately land in the Supreme Court. The NFL wouldn't go down without a fight and I find it hard to believe the judges would want to become the most despised people in the country.

I watched the replay last night on NFL Network and once on field he still had several seconds to setup for the kick. Yes, he was a bit rushed onto the field (I was at the game) from the sidelines, but he still had time to align himself and didn't require taking a timeout as some media outlets are saying. He just plain missed it.

MJ's right. But MJ had much better leadership, respect from teammates, unselfish play, and was a better defensive player (Kobe wasn't bad either).

You don't go 13-3 and be lucky. The Defense is pretty decent against rushing and is somewhere in the middle in league rankings. Their problem was against the pass....which Belichick recognized and moved Devin McCourty to safety for the playoffs. They're tweaking the Defense and trying new things. Don't assume this Defense will automatically be bad for the playoffs.

Been a Patriots season ticket holder for 11 years. Seen just about every team and visiting fan base. By far...the most 'mouthy' visiting fans are Philly fans followed by NY fans. Not even close. Jacobs just doesn't like that there are more Cowboy fans the Giant fans.
