Get ready to be hounded then because you just gave the media reasons to come bug you and ask you lame questions just to hear you give lame answers. But hey, if you are willing to fork over 100K+ in fines to miss it, knock yourself out. We won't miss you either.
Posted Thursday January 23, 2014, About: Cowboys are up against the cap ... again
Contracts should be more scaled back and then padded with incentives. Make the players earn their millions rather than paying them huge bonuses when they've never played for you or big contracts based upon what they did for another team. Owners are their own worst enemies.
Posted Monday January 20, 2014, About: NFL looking into Niners' sideline behavior
You will not found out anyone willing to get out of your way on the opposing side and if I were seeing a man of his side running into me, I would lean into him and brace for the hit myself, not to try and injure him but to protect myself. Screw the rule, the NFL needs to look more at the rules regarding replays where they screwed the 49ers out of a turnover....let's call this one even.
Posted Wednesday December 18, 2013, About: Jerry thinks it's crazy to hire a GM
And his reasoning is why nothing will change for the better. We got to the superbowl because of Jimmy Johnson's skills at picking players. Jerry has sucked ever since and always will. He is much like the old Oakland owner. We can only hope maybe Jerry's son will be smarter.
Posted Friday August 30, 2013, About: Cano, Yankees more than $100M off
I agree with you 110% mb1. Being a Rangers fan and having delt with A-Rod. We have hopefully learned you don't always get what you pay for with those mega contracts.
Posted Friday August 30, 2013, About: Cano, Yankees more than $100M off
And the Yankees are prob dumb enough to pay him 275 Mil. I say dump his greedy ****. Any contract with the word Millions in it is more than enough to feed you and your kids and also put a roof over your head. That is a major problem all sports players have. They think they HAVE to have enough money stocked up before they quit playing to last them the rest of their lives. Get a freaking real job afterwards like maybe a coach or analyst or something. Teams are already starting to price games out of the range of average people.
Posted Monday August 05, 2013, About: A-Rod expects to be in Yankees' lineup ...
A-Rod, wake up and smell what you've been dealing. Your playing days are done. The Yankees are going to save a butt load of money by not having to pay you and will use that money for your replacement. I will boo any team you happen to be on if anyone is stupid enough to sign you after your contract is up. You're an overpriced athlete and a drug user. No thanks!
Posted Wednesday July 24, 2013, About: A-Rod won't make a deal, plans to fight
The guy already has admitted to used steroids when he was at Texas, time to come down on him hard and ban him immediately! No need to drag this out until next season. I think besides the ban, he should have to pay back some of his fat salary. Maybe having to give back money will be a deterrent to using the drugs in the first place. Right now, MLB slaps them on the wrist and says don't do it again.

Posted Wednesday November 14, 2012, About: Did Kupchak bail on Phil?
As I understand it, Phil was wanting everything including the moon. What sort of coach asks for part ownership of a team just to be their coach? Yeah he is a great coach but come on! Phil was wanting too much to come back to a team that wonders why he left before. The Lakers got a good coach that knows Steve Nash's skills and will turn the team around. Let Phil sit on his big pile of cash and whine about how they didn't give him enough time to answer. If it was before the season started that would be one thing, but come on Phil. The season has already started and they couldn't wait 24-48 hours for a response, you're either in or out!
Posted Tuesday February 14, 2012, About: Luck vs. Griffin worth debating?
If they don't improve the offensive line then Griffin would be the better pick as they will need someone that can run when the protection breaks down and he is much better then Luck at running. Someone here posted they need help with the Defense. One sure fire way to help the Def, is to keep them off the field by keeping the offense moving down the field. Colts need a lot of help on both sides but it is apparent that this team went from Superbowl contender to 1 rd pick contender because their offense failed to do its job and the defense simply wore out. Fix the offense and the defense will get better. But I would spend some of my later picks on them as well.
Posted Wednesday January 18, 2012, About: Rangers' revival gains steam with Prince
I just hope they don't mortgage the rest of the team for the sake of signing Fielder. We could use a first baseman that can smack home runs but not at the expense of losing players like Cruz and Napoli. I also don't want to see someone like Fielder come in and make double or triple the salary that other players are getting. Remember who got you to the big dance the last two years and reward them before you go paying a buttload of money to Fielder.
Posted Friday January 13, 2012, About: Rangers in on Darvish and Oswalt
I hope the Rangers are smart enough to know when to stay away from an injury-prone, over the hill pitcher. Sign Darvish to a nice contract, but one laid up with incentives rather than just millions with no guarantee for results. For once I would like to see a team hire a pitcher and pay them based on their performance. You get a bonus amount for each win, bonus for 10 wins, bonus for 20 wins, bonus for 10 strikes in a game, bonus for games giving up no walks, bonus for shutouts, bonus for reaching playoffs, bonus if you receive Cy Young, bonus for not having to go on disable list, etc. If you don't achieve most of these bonuses, then you are an average pitcher and surely don't deserve a base salary in the multi-millions.
Posted Thursday January 12, 2012, About: Tide losing talent, still preseason No. 1
It won't take as long for Bama to lose their first game in 2012. Without a potent defense like they had. Other SEC teams will eat them up. Be glad you won it this year as you won't be there next year.
Posted Thursday December 15, 2011, About: Is Garrett's job is on the line?
I agree, he has no sense of knowledge on how to manage the clock at end of games. He gets wrapped up in the game and forgets simple things like how many timeouts, etc. Get another offensive coordinator so he can focus on being head coach during the game. Or he will be packing soon. Jones is saying all the right things to the media but that doesn't mean he isn't looking for another coach if things don't improve.
Posted Monday November 28, 2011, About: Did Cowboys quiet cheerleader's Twitter account?
Does seem rather dumb to make her delete her account. I've seen and heard worse tweets from the players themselves and they never got fined or deleted their accounts. Probably those women that pick the cheerleaders that forced this issue. Let them be and tweet about their 5 min in the spot light.
Posted Wednesday November 23, 2011, About: Exhibition games growing more risky
Lol, my first thought is it is funnier than all get out they they are dropping like flies overseas. Just goes to show you how smart they are and their plot to scare owners by going overseas can backfire on them, at least some individuals. Players need to realize their salaries were growing much like the housing bubble and when it burst there is a salary correction that needs to take place. Players always talk about playing the game they love. Well I love to play the game too but I play it for free. Players should be great full they are getting paid a good sum of money to play a game and take a 50/50 deal. I personally think they are getting too much at 50/50 given their salaries anyway. Players need to also realize that with no NBA season, now fans will focus on college games and find new stars and soon you will be forgotten. Don't think it can happen players? Well, just keep sitting at home and watch!
Posted Wednesday November 23, 2011, About: Texas may be done chasing Wilson
Being a Tx fan I can say this, Wilson was good this year but not great. Wilson's season this year was much like an NFL team going 15-1 during the season and then losing in the second round of playoffs. He bit the big one. I for one would like to give him one more chance but realize that you aren't going to get a $100 mil or more contract for your sorry performance in the playoffs. Not sure Feliz will be as great as Wilson but we know he can be good. I know Maddux is a great pitching coach and can keep the rotation in good order.
Posted Monday November 21, 2011, About: Smith's knee injury appeared serious
That is the risk you take in this sport. You want money then you risk injury. Had the players been willing to take the offer from owners you could be risking injury here with better doctors and better fans for sure. Your loss players. Don't ask taxpayers here to pay for your injuries overseas when you should have bought insurance over there or made it part of your paycheck.
