They are always groups of fans that become spoiled or unrealistic. The same was true at PSU a few years back, when there were some bad seasons.
I for one wish Lloyd was still there. He was definitely a classy coach.
Regardless of how bad it looks, and I'm no RRod fan, I think they will give him another year. Need to really give a coach with a whole new type of offense time to get his style of recruits in place to play.
I'm no Charlie fan, but ask some relevant questions. Okay to ask if he's disappointed in this season.
I understand the frustration about this, but there are always going to be missed/wrong calls when humans are involved. The review rules have helped a lot, but can not solve 100%. The coaches need to accept this. You know these same coaches are not reviewing film and complaining to the SEC about missed/wrong calls that would have gone against their own team.
If there are issues with the quality of the officials, then the SEC needs to address this. I personally hate that the winner/loser of a game can be decided by a missed/incorrect call, but until the system can be improved, crying about it in public will not solve anything. And it is not a good example to your team, unless you are going to point out any calls they missed against your own team.
Yes the SEC really needs to look into the quality of their officiating staff, and the coaches should be allowed to forward complaints to the SEC, but these should not be public unless the SEC finds some issues, like when they recently suspended the one crew.
All really good teams are developed from scouting and getting a good mix of players that can come together as a team under a good system. While you can add a couple of high profile free agents, you can't build a team around them.
I can't wait to see what he does if we have the uncapped year next season. He will try his best to buy his team. We may end up with an asterisk (*) year if we have a couple of teams simply trying to buy a SB.
