Please! The Boys and Girls Club "donation" was a cop out. If he truly wanted to "give back" he would've done it out of pocket.

I ask anyone who believes LeBron was right for leaving the Cavs simply for the fact that he MAY never have won a championship there, who's better, Bill Russell or Michael Jordan? And an even better question, who's better, Karl Malone or Dennis Rodman? LeBron's "greatness" wouldn't have been questioned if he didn't win a championship. But I do now because of his lack of competitive fire.

A short of list of recent NBA greats that never won a championship and that are very well respected: John Stockton, Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, Reggie Miller, and Charles Barkley. I would've respected LeBron more so if he had joined the Knicks, Nets, or Bulls where he wasn't pretty much guaranteed a championship. I would've respected him even more if he stayed in Cleveland. Him wanting to defer pressure and expectations to two other all stars pretty much threw out any chance of me ever respecting him. You may ask why not scrutinize Wade or Bosh, but the fact of the matter is, LeBron was supposed to be one of the greatest. He was supposed to be "the next Michael Jordan." I am a Knicks fan, but every time the Jordan Bulls played the Knicks, you best believed I cheered for the Bulls. That's the type of player Jordan was. His determination and will to win inspired respect and admiration in millions of people, Bulls fans and Bulls haters alike. I've never thought of Lebron as "the next Michael Jordan," but the latest events in the "LeBron Show" just proved to me that it was all just a hype.
