Kerry Collins is complete garbage. I hope they try to make him into a starter for the fiftyleventh time, a leopard can't change his spots.

Vince needs to go to a team that realizes the amazing amount of physical talent and football skill that this individual possesses.

What was the name of the 2006 Rookie of The Year Again? Hardly a bust, one missed season due to injury. The Titans offense wasn't exactly stellar without him. Don't play VY? Expect a BIG drop from last year with no D to ride to the playoffs (think Chicago last year).

Yes there are a number of rules that are in place to protect players FireJerry, I can concede that. I do not think that Roy Williams perfected the Technique because he was constantly getting beat, it is just a sure-fire way to not miss any tackles.

So far the only safety that anyone said was better than Roy Williams was Sean Taylor. While it can be argued weather or not he deserved the pick that year (remember, tragically he only played half a year) I would not say that Roy was given the Pro Bowl spot that Sean deserved OVER him.

Can anybody please point to another safety that was better than Roy Williams during his Pro-Bowl years that did not get the recognition that they deserved because of Roy's "name"? That is the crux of the argument, Roy did not deserve the Pro Bowl (meaning that someone else did). I have a hard time thinking of a more feared presence in the backfield... until the "Roy Williams Penalty" was introduced to neutralize him.

Hmmm... sounds like BuckNuts doesn't really have much to say in the way of facts, just frantically trying to cover his Hyper Homoerotic tendencies by ranting off subject about nothing in particular.

FireJerry, I respect your coherent argument, but the reason for the rule is MOST DEFINITELY Roy Williams. That was a perfectly acceptable tackling technique (and quite effective) That was widespread WAY before RW. But, Roy did perfect it to an art, so much so that every single other player in the NFL was at a disadvantage because of it, so they had to change the rule. Lots of people get hurt on lots of plays, the injury rate in the NFL is 100%, if they changed every rule because people got hurt in the NFL, we would have no game left, or maybe it would look more like FUTBOL!
