Big 12 is losing ground quick considering Texas and its lack of schedule.

Couldn't the same be said for ANY BCS team outside the Big East?

Thanks

I think I am going to have trouble accessing that one from work....plus, the website makes me a little curious as to the validity.

I am not doubting, but can you show me the article that covers this? I have been unsuccessfully looking for this "clause" since they reworked his contract last year.

Isn't this the equivalent of Florida hiring Meyer?

I've been trying to find the language as well.

Why not?
Posted Thursday November 12, 2009, About: Tate focusing on Irish before NFL
This should be reason enough to fire Chuck....playing people ONLY becasue they are seniors when there are better people sitting the bench?
Posted Thursday November 12, 2009, About: Tate focusing on Irish before NFL
Also, how do we know how many credits he has left to take? Is that public knowledge or just what we are bieng told? Not that I care.....just curious on this "inside info".

The problem is that next year with an overhauled line at ND, he may be making zero pro money if he gets split in half by a rushing D-end.

If the star rating is there already, then how do the academic requirements factor in?
Posted Monday November 09, 2009, About: Navy loss a deal-breaker for Weis?
ND might want to grab Kelly soon, because Wolverine nation is growing impatient, and being that Kelly turned around the programs at GVSU and CMU, his name recognition is larger than in most markets.

Alright, I will raise my hand to say "I don't get it". Explain please to those of us that are feable minded.
Posted Wednesday November 04, 2009, About: Clausen clouds Notre Dame's future
That is kind of my thought as well.....especially with the Rams picking high. Also, how come no one mentions Golden Tate coming out? Am I missing something on him? Is he 5'8 or something?

So, if the rookie salary cap goes in, wouldn't he still stand to make more as the #2 QB this year instead of the possible #1 QB next year? Especially considering that a ton of the crappy teams (Lions) already have a QB spot filled?
Not saying he is a money driven kid, but no matter what we say here, the likelihood of ND going undefeated with all of the barnburners they have played this year is pretty low.
Posted Wednesday November 04, 2009, About: Clausen clouds Notre Dame's future
What QB's are projected to be taken ahead of Clausen right now?
Posted Wednesday November 04, 2009, About: Clausen clouds Notre Dame's future
The problem for ND is that yes....they could be undefeated now, but they also could be .500. I don't know if the "luck" can pull through quite as often next year.....but I know we are speculating. I just look at how bad UM is and wonder how on earth ND ever lost to them.

Tebow is not a top NFL QB prospect....and personally, I don't think McCoy is either. If anything, what has happened to Bradford should push him to declare now.
Posted Wednesday November 04, 2009, About: Clausen clouds Notre Dame's future
I don't get why that means he would stay. Those could be attributes that make him a pro QB. I am sure much of his decision is going to be base upon what teams are looking for a QB and where they fall in the draft, but declaring for the NFL HAS to be a strong option for him now.

Not USC in 08? That is why plus one is still messed up
