You think he really had his pick of any job when he came to Chicago? No, he took that job, then promptly won 6 titles in 8 years by being the first person to convince MJ to play team ball. If you don't think that's good coaching, you're just delusional, simple as that. The work he did in Chicago earned him the right to pick and choose what job he wants, and no coach in his right mind would take a team on the down slope if he has an option to do otherwise.
