Uhhh - no. Dude is garage. The only time he even attempts to show up is in a contract year. The rest of the time, it's phantom injuries, and zero defense.
At least he's honest, and can evaluate himself as such. I'd rather have a player say that than try to convince the free world he IS elite when he's not.
This guy is clearly a better man than I am. Although, it kind of makes sense if you think about it. He already had 5 years of his life stolen by a stupid ****. Why would he want to waste any more of his life worrying about the past? It's over and done with.....spend your energy on the future.
Obvious troll is obvious. Let's review what happened.
You think he really had his pick of any job when he came to Chicago? No, he took that job, then promptly won 6 titles in 8 years by being the first person to convince MJ to play team ball. If you don't think that's good coaching, you're just delusional, simple as that. The work he did in Chicago earned him the right to pick and choose what job he wants, and no coach in his right mind would take a team on the down slope if he has an option to do otherwise.
To say that he's "tuning him out" suggests that at some point in time, he was actually "tuned in". The guy has been a space cadet since day one. This is nothing new.
Not if it involves lowering our academic standards, and turning out under-educated players. Last time I checked, the "student" part of "student athlete" was still important up North. But hey, don't let something like ignoring the committments you make to your students bother you. I know you're too busy worrying about those all-important national championships.
Da ****?
Absolutely.

That is all.
