Posted Friday October 12, 2007, About: How Lee won FSU QB job
Lee won the job cause Weatherford is a over-rated statue who is not that great of a passer. Lee may not be Peyton Manning, but in the college game, it is proven you can get by with a Mike Vick or Brad Smith-type QB.

whoever said TO needs to step up in a big game, does anybody remember the Pats-Eagles Super Bowl? He nearly willed his team to a victory, broken leg and all, against the team of the decade.
Posted Monday September 10, 2007, About: Will Van Gundy replace Nellie?
RIP#10-
Gundy may be a strategy genius, but since when does that make him a great coach? that is one aspect, but he must also have his players believe in him, like him to at least a small degree, and buy into his plan. Gundy is a lifeless sack of !@#$ on the sidelines, and he does hardly anything to try and motivate his teams. And to the person who said he had nothing, he was here with Franchise(when he was All-Star debateable), Cuttino Mobley, and Yao and he STILL did nothing for us. That trio would wreck shop with any coach who knew a scrap about offense. I never denied his genius #10, and I think he would be absolutely perfect for a broadcaster/analysists role, or an associate head coach, but GS isnt built like he likes, and he is NOT a good head coach.

wow, the warriors would go from one of the most exciting, progressive, young teams in the country to THE slowest, most boring, and probably if Gundz has his way, oldest teams in the NBA. Being from Houston, I think Gundz is one of the most overrated head coaches in the league. this would kill them right as they were about to get good.
Posted Monday September 10, 2007, About: One more year for Rockets big man
Here in houston, i dont think there is a single person who doesnt like Dikembe as a player or a person. When Yao went down last year, he became a 80 year old Man-Child and helped us to a (though ultimately ill-fated) playoff appearance. Glad to have the big man back, the league will be a worse place when he retires.

Ha, he just got the dreaded vote of confidence no football coach wants. He is gone by the end of the year, just like Shula was when he got his confience vote
Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: Ankiel won't say if he used HGH
Vick-tory, when you say nobody can prove it was a legit doctor, you are inherently saying that nobody can disprove that exact same fact. Remember, here in America you are still innocent until proven guilty.
Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: Ankiel won't say if he used HGH
Ankiel has every right to withhold that information from the media, per patient doctor privacies. He has said he stopped taking them before they became illegal in the MLB, so why is there such a fuss?

Also, I would just like to point out the terrible double-standard this country seems to have, where we blast Michael Vick for outright lying, then Ankiel comes out and admits that he took it, and everybody calls him a cheater and is outraged. If this is how the country acts, I dont blame Vick for lying.
Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: Tiger to endorse Gatorade
Vitamin water is good, but not really intended for the same purpose, Gatorade is still the best for stringent athletic activities(umm...Golf?:)) Tiger has to be the richest athlete by at least 100 million dollars, the guy has sponsors throwing millions at him for one print ad in a specific magazine.
Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: Jackson rips Lakers owner, son
And my favorite thing about this article is that Phil is the only person in the league intimidated by nobody, as he has criticized David Stern, his Diva-esque players(Kobe AND Shaq) and now the Lakers owners. Keep it up Phil
Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: Jackson rips Lakers owner, son
First off, anybody saying Phil cant win without Shaq is an idiot, of course you need a quality center in this NBA, and Shaq has been one of the best. That doesnt mean Kobe sucks cuz he cant win without Shaq, or that Phil is a bad coach. Any great coach needs great talent, of which the Lakers have none. Therein lies the problem, and I would love nothing more than to see Kobe go to Chicago, and even though that probably wont happen, it would be REALLY cool to see Phil go with him, which DEFINATELY wont happen, but it would be nice for Kobe to get away from his history in LA so that people could realize he is really a relatively nice guy who made some bone-head decisions, and is among the top-10 players of all time.
Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: Reynolds: ESPN firing was racial
I agree that Reynolds shouldnt have done it, and yes, ESPN had every right to fire him most likely, BUT we would be doing everybody a disservice not to at least examine the possibility that his firing might have been against the typical practices carried out with white employees. Harold is not in the right, but that doenst necessarily mean ESPN is automatically free of wrongdoing.
Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: T.O. attended 'cultural' dog fights
i just created an account to defend TO, something i never thought i would want to do, but if yall read the entire interview, you would know that what he said was Dogfighting is, from a completely unbiased viewpoint, the same as someone who hunts JUST for a trophy on the wall. and to the idiot who talked about overpopulation, how on earth has it worked before hunting was considered sport? that is a stupid argument created by hunters(of which I am one) to try and get hippie tree-huggers(also of which i am one) off their back. He also went on to say that, he loves animals and DOESNT CONDONE Vick's activities, and admits they are wrong and offensive, his entire point was just that people need to get off of Vick's back, he has shown contrition, let him do the time for his crime and we will see what happens after that. If this wasnt TO, nobody would care so much and the media would report this much fairer, and if your first reaction to that last sentence was "Race Card!", then you are a sad idiot. no racial issues involved, just TO's past actions and his reputation so the media portrays him as the idiot they want him to be, NOT the voice of reason he actually was in this case.
