Posted Saturday March 08, 2014, About: Albert Pujols: Mike Trout isn't in my league yet
Pujols has a great chance at a comeback. Remember, the dopers are always a step ahead of the testers. I'm sure he's found something new by now.

That's an awful plan. Why try to lure two control freaks?
Posted Wednesday June 12, 2013, About: Nets' coaching search down to Jason Kidd and Brian Shaw
They might as well save face and go all in trying to court Kidd. Shaw can get just about any job open he wants, and will continue to be able to pick his spot just like Thibadeau did, for the foreseeable future. There is no chance he wants any part of that mess of a roster in Brooklyn. Might as well just give it to Kidd and let the legend give it a go.

Well he wasn't wrong.
Posted Monday June 10, 2013, About: Bud Selig cleaning up legacy by cleaning up juicers
If he really wants to do something to try to fix his legacy, he can start with an apology to every fan of the game. He can attempt to reel in some of the horrible and greedy owners. He can balance the schedule and do away with year-round interleague. He can convince the owners, using that scumbag in Miami as an example, to give back to the fans and give us something like a year of $5 admission to every seat in every stadium, with no increases in any concessions or parking. These owners have all made millions of dollars every single year, they can operate at a loss for a season. Hell, they can take away the fund that goes to pay that loser in miami and redistribute that back to the rest of the league.
Posted Sunday June 09, 2013, About: Bud Selig cleaning up legacy by cleaning up juicers
To say Selig is cleaning up his legacy now, after decades of looking the other way of steroid use and the beginning of the end of NL style play (interleague play being year-round will lead to the NL having to start using the DH, mark my words) and the lockout he had a huge hand in, is akin to saying a meth head is cleaning up his legacy by getting dentures to replace his rotted teeth. Selig was an awful commissioner and will go down as one of the 3 worst in the history of the game.

I think it's hilarious hearing heat fans complain that the refs cost them a game. Do you not realize the refs gifted you at least one championship?

What a scumbag. He is my least favorite athlete of all time. I'd rather cheer for rapist Rothlesburger than this ****.
Posted Tuesday May 21, 2013, About: Howard aired D'Antoni grievances with Lakers
Of course that two faced coward would wait until D'Antoni was out of the room to voice his complaints. Anyone remember Van Gundy calling him out to reporters about wanting to be traded, then Howard came out and acted like his buddy? Despite his talent, Howard is a bad person.
He was never going to be a good NFL QB, no matter where he played.

He turned down the Bobcats job, I doubt he will settle for the 76ers.

I'd love to see them leave. It would help with traffic around here.

I have social anxiety disorder and I know better than to try to get a job where I'm in front of that many people. He needs to take responsibility for himself and be a responsible adult. Sounds like he is so used to being coddled that he expects it from everyone, all the time. What a loser.
Well, he was right. The games aren't fairly officiated and that would drive me crazy if my income depended on it.

He should have took LeBron's head off and made it count. Hopefully he learned that for next time.
Posted Sunday March 17, 2013, About: Pacers guard Hill calls out fans for lack of support
Easy to call out the fans for not showing up when you make millions a year. If he wants more fans there to support them, buy some tickets and give them away. Obviously you aren't earning that money if you aren't putting butts in the seats.
Posted Sunday March 17, 2013, About: Blatche to take less money as free agent?
Sure, why not? No matter his motivation, he will be helping his new team by signing for less money and still make the same cash from the Wiz, all the while making an opponent weaker by leaving the financial hit on them.
Posted Saturday November 19, 2011, About: Can players start own league?
How are the players at all being greedy or selfish? They are trying to live up to their contracts. The stupid owners are being greedy and saying "we don't wanna pay the contracts we agreed to".

People in this country are so anti-labor it is truly disgusting.
Posted Saturday November 19, 2011, About: Can players start own league?
It's sad to see the majority of people with the mentality of beat down peasants.
The labor is the main reason the owners are making any money at all. The players hold all the power here but are afraid to wield it.

If the top 25 or so talented guys and about 2/3 of the top hundred can manage to stick together, they have a chance to topple the NBA within a few years.
They just need new billionaires to invest in them. And there are plenty of ultra rich in the world that would love to have a piece of it.

Another scenario that I could see is the top 10 or so owners in the league getting fed up with the broke ones that have badly managed their teams. Do you think Mark Cuban wants to see his team sit after that last year? How about Reinsdorf or Buss or any of the other big market teams that are going to lose out on at least ten million each? If the top half of the NBA can't get enough support from the other owners, maybe they get fed up and break off.
They could take their teams and just play each other. There will be plenty of money to go around still because all of it is coming from the top half of the teams anyway. What is left of the NBA after that would be nothing.
Posted Sunday November 06, 2011, About: NBA now behind MLS in average attendance
Just wait to the numbers post-lockout. I know I am not spending one penny for two years after the league comes back. I will watch games streaming online to not even see the ads. I wont buy jerseys or hats.

These owners want an investment. Sports teams are supposed to be toys for the super rich, not investments. Mark Cuban does it right. Jerry Reinsdorf does it right. there are a few out there that just want to have a team, and they are the ones getting screwed by their peers that want an investment. And nobody forces these guys to put stupid people in charge of handing out contracts. I'm sick of stupid, spoiled rich men( most of whom are living off of legacy money, not money THEY made) making stupid decisions that screw all of us regular people.

I quit the NFL completely when it was obvious to me that the sport didn't matter. That they would pander to the casual fans and turn the game into NFL lite is too much for me. If I want to see no defense or running, I'll watch the AFL. But these short-sighted owners just want that easy money. They want to put no work into making the sports better.

The NBA owners have been just as bad to it's hard core fans. You don't do this. You don't make 4+ billion dollars in **** profit and say it's not enough. The NBA as a whole makes money. The badly run teams lose. It's that easy. Hey Dan Gilbert, maybe crappy Cleveland can't suppport a team. That is not my damn fault. Retract if you are losing money. Or sell the team.
I guarantee every team ever sold MADE money for it's owner. How is that losing money? They all walk away hundreds of millions ahead.
