He was never going to be a good NFL QB, no matter where he played.

He turned down the Bobcats job, I doubt he will settle for the 76ers.

I'd love to see them leave. It would help with traffic around here.

I have social anxiety disorder and I know better than to try to get a job where I'm in front of that many people. He needs to take responsibility for himself and be a responsible adult. Sounds like he is so used to being coddled that he expects it from everyone, all the time. What a loser.
Well, he was right. The games aren't fairly officiated and that would drive me crazy if my income depended on it.

He should have took LeBron's head off and made it count. Hopefully he learned that for next time.

Easy to call out the fans for not showing up when you make millions a year. If he wants more fans there to support them, buy some tickets and give them away. Obviously you aren't earning that money if you aren't putting butts in the seats.
Posted Sunday March 17, 2013, About: Blatche to take less money as free agent?
Sure, why not? No matter his motivation, he will be helping his new team by signing for less money and still make the same cash from the Wiz, all the while making an opponent weaker by leaving the financial hit on them.
Posted Saturday November 19, 2011, About: Can players start own league?
How are the players at all being greedy or selfish? They are trying to live up to their contracts. The stupid owners are being greedy and saying "we don't wanna pay the contracts we agreed to".

People in this country are so anti-labor it is truly disgusting.
Posted Saturday November 19, 2011, About: Can players start own league?
It's sad to see the majority of people with the mentality of beat down peasants.
The labor is the main reason the owners are making any money at all. The players hold all the power here but are afraid to wield it.

If the top 25 or so talented guys and about 2/3 of the top hundred can manage to stick together, they have a chance to topple the NBA within a few years.
They just need new billionaires to invest in them. And there are plenty of ultra rich in the world that would love to have a piece of it.

Another scenario that I could see is the top 10 or so owners in the league getting fed up with the broke ones that have badly managed their teams. Do you think Mark Cuban wants to see his team sit after that last year? How about Reinsdorf or Buss or any of the other big market teams that are going to lose out on at least ten million each? If the top half of the NBA can't get enough support from the other owners, maybe they get fed up and break off.
They could take their teams and just play each other. There will be plenty of money to go around still because all of it is coming from the top half of the teams anyway. What is left of the NBA after that would be nothing.
Posted Sunday November 06, 2011, About: NBA now behind MLS in average attendance
Just wait to the numbers post-lockout. I know I am not spending one penny for two years after the league comes back. I will watch games streaming online to not even see the ads. I wont buy jerseys or hats.

These owners want an investment. Sports teams are supposed to be toys for the super rich, not investments. Mark Cuban does it right. Jerry Reinsdorf does it right. there are a few out there that just want to have a team, and they are the ones getting screwed by their peers that want an investment. And nobody forces these guys to put stupid people in charge of handing out contracts. I'm sick of stupid, spoiled rich men( most of whom are living off of legacy money, not money THEY made) making stupid decisions that screw all of us regular people.

I quit the NFL completely when it was obvious to me that the sport didn't matter. That they would pander to the casual fans and turn the game into NFL lite is too much for me. If I want to see no defense or running, I'll watch the AFL. But these short-sighted owners just want that easy money. They want to put no work into making the sports better.

The NBA owners have been just as bad to it's hard core fans. You don't do this. You don't make 4+ billion dollars in **** profit and say it's not enough. The NBA as a whole makes money. The badly run teams lose. It's that easy. Hey Dan Gilbert, maybe crappy Cleveland can't suppport a team. That is not my damn fault. Retract if you are losing money. Or sell the team.
I guarantee every team ever sold MADE money for it's owner. How is that losing money? They all walk away hundreds of millions ahead.

To Chicago with Turk for Booz Noah and Deng. Great trade both teams stay in the top five in the East.

Posted Sunday October 23, 2011, About: Did Raiders bid against themselves for Palmer?
Couldn't they have gotten Orton or someone else? I'm terrified of whatever is, or isn't, left in the tank for Palmer. And they are paying the guy a ton.
If they wanted a superstar from 2006 that has no arm left, couldn't we have made a move for McNabb? That's pretty much the same guy at this point in their careers. Would have been cheaper.
Posted Monday October 17, 2011, About: NBA talking with potential buyers for Hornets
This is the leverage the players need. They can just not agree to anything til the HoreNuts are sold. Then take the price it was sold for and compare to what it was sold for previously and that will show that all the owners are actually making money off of owing the teams.
Posted Monday July 25, 2011, About: Adelman to interview with T-Wolves
Nobody is saying he is taking the job. He has to be the top candidate out there. He may just go in to listen as much as interview. They are probably in there pitching to him.
Heck it could be a good move for him. If he could reel in Beasley, they already have stat-padding Kevin Love and Rubio on the way. Oh I think they even drafted a kid and may be able to move Beasley anyway. So what is the real problem with the roster? I have not been paying attention to Minny lately. Are these kids hopeless? I think a core of Beasley, Love and Rubio has potential if they can pan out.
Posted Thursday September 02, 2010, About: Nuggets turning away Melo trade pitches
Well the Rockets have not been healthy since the 90s. But include them in the list of teams that would be legit title contenders with him.
Posted Thursday September 02, 2010, About: Nuggets turning away Melo trade pitches
Instant championships may be within his grasp. What if he can force a sign and trade to a team like the Mavs or Bulls or Magic or, I don't know, I am sure there are a few teams he would put on the same level as the Heat or Lakers. There is definitely a chance he could win a title in the next three years if everything works in his favor.
Posted Thursday September 02, 2010, About: Nuggets turning away Melo trade pitches
They do not have to trade Melo. If he leaves he will need a sign and trade or he will lose out on a lot of dough. So they can at least gets pics then.
And what the owners of the Nugs know about the new cba could change what everyone thinks. What if the new cba has a similar thing to the NFLs franchise tag? They could be pushing hard for that. I can see that being an issue after this past summer.
