Posted Wednesday October 07, 2009, About: Sources: Limbaugh not front-runner for Rams
I have been a fan of the Rams since the days of the fearsome foursome. Been there during the good times and bad, but if Limbaugh and Checketts become the owners I will drop the Rams. I refuse to support a hate-monger like Limbaugh and Checketts tenure with MSG was a joke. Yeah the Rams have been bad the last several years but no need to scrape the bottom of the barrel with ownership. There are better bids out there
Posted Sunday September 27, 2009, About: Purdue timeout surprises Weis
Purdue blew that game. The prevent defense they were playing prevented them from winning the game. That timeout was the most bone-headed call in recent years
Posted Sunday September 20, 2009, About: Are Crabtree's enablers hurting him?
I disagree. I think there will be a rookie scale like the NBA has for maybe a 3 year first contract. The veteran players in the league seem to be favoring that rookies come in and prove themselves before getting the big money contracts. Veterans players are cut because they will have less impact on the salary cap than players in rookies contracts. Also the owners will fight for a rookie scale in this next agreement to avoid these prolonged holdouts
Posted Sunday September 20, 2009, About: Park president: No Payton statue at Soldier Field
Let me say that I am not a Bears fan, but Walter Payton is one of the greatest players to ever step on an NFL field. He was an outstanding community person off the field as well. Put up the statue. I served in the military and have no problem with it

I just wish that all those so-called "reality" stars would go away. They have no talent except to act completely moronic on tv.

On another note, there is no confirmation to the rumor that Charlie is preparing for the game with 3 dozen krispy kreme doughnuts

Posted Sunday November 30, 2008, About: Blowout could be end for Weis
I think Weis should be fired. He came in waving his superbowl rings under everyones noses saying how great he was. Remember him saying that ND would have a schematic offensive advantage with him at the helm in every game? Well I think that has been proven false. He can recruit but cannot develope talent. I also really don't like the way that he has thrown players under the bus and not taken as much blame himself. He is still overly arrogant despite the lack of success he has had. By the way I am not a ND fan, so I really not mind them losing. In fact keep good old Chuck

Wow Plax is such a moron. He has always been an overrated WR and now we know that he runs around half-cocked (ok bad pun)
Posted Monday October 20, 2008, About: Wade Phillips on Cowboys hot seat?
Sorry the truth hurts. Both teams were blown out by Baylor
Posted Monday October 20, 2008, About: Wade Phillips on Cowboys hot seat?
Not saying he was a bad pick up, but a #1, #3, and a #6 for him and a #7 is a little too much
Posted Monday October 20, 2008, About: Wade Phillips on Cowboys hot seat?
By the way, Iowa St is one of the worst teams, along with Washington St
Posted Monday October 20, 2008, About: Wade Phillips on Cowboys hot seat?
Ok Cowboy fans, here is my list of what the problems are with the Cowboys and possible solutions.
1) Jerry Jones being GM. Jerry chases names to add to the Cowboys and really doesn't take into account other factors, such as position, needs and team chemistry. His ego is also so large he cannot admit when he has made a mistake. He just overpaid for Roy Williams when a WR was not the biggest need on the team. Jerry needs to step down and bring in a strong GM, maybe if he swallowed his pride he could ask Jimmy Johnson.
2) Coaching staff. Fire them all. If you want a Bill Cowher type of coach, you need to allow them to hire their own staff. Coaches know who they want to work with and if you force coaches on them there could be problems.
3) Offensive line. For a line that was suppose to be one of the best they have really underpreformed. After the last 2 games, I would be ashamed to pick up my game check if I were them.
4) Defense- See number 3. Play with pride and passion
5) Leadership- Where is the leadership on this team? No one on this team has shown the type of leadership to overcome anything, much less a losing streak. Bring in some players who have leadership quality.
Posted Sunday October 19, 2008, About: Jones: Romo active, but won't start
Cowboys have alot more problems than Romo not playing today. The Rams, one of the worst teams are blowing them out today. There is something wrong with the Cowboys where they are not playing up to their potential. The easy excuse is to lay all the blame on the coaches, but the players need to share in the blame. Where are the team leaders?

Riggs,

Are you talking to yourself in the mirror again?
Posted Wednesday October 15, 2008, About: Marbury: I'm a starter period
Marbury has a higher opinion of his game than anyone else outside of Action Brown. I think the knicks should pay him to go away, since he is indeed a cancer in the locker room. He has proven that throughout his career. Marbury will never be considered one of the great PGs in the game
Posted Wednesday October 15, 2008, About: Marbury: I'm a starter period
The 60's thru the 80's were a pretty good period
Posted Thursday October 09, 2008, About: Report: Pacman fights own bodyguard
I disagree. I may have issues with some cowboy fans claiming TO is the greatest receiver, but as far as I know he has never broken the law. Every team in the NFL has players that have had criminal charges against them, so saying that the Cowboys are the only ones is just stupid.
Posted Wednesday October 08, 2008, About: Why T.O. cried on sideline
I have to disagree with you. TO has had alot of talent around him on teams. Look at the QBs he has played with; Steve Young, Garcia, McNabb, and now Romo. He has never been on a rebuilding team. The 49ers weren't a completely rebuilding team when he joined the NFL. TO has also shown that he does not always give 100% on the field and let's not forget the episode of him calling Garcia gay.

That being said if he did in fact lose a family member then I am sorry for his loss, but you will have to excuse me from being a cynic due to his past
Posted Tuesday October 07, 2008, About: Plaxico shows no remorse
The question is, if he didn't have any regrets why did he have his agent Mr. No Comment threaten action to have the suspension lifted? Maybe next time he can make a simple phone call, but probably not. He is a much better WR in his own mind than he is on the field
