Right here, dude. My only problem is that I live far enough away to make getting to the games a real hassle. Hopefully I can make a few of them.

You know, I wonder if this is the problem in Tampa Bay also. They fired Jeff Jagodzinski and kept Byron Leftwich as the starter at QB. IMHO, that's the definition of how to not win.

While I don't live near Gainesville and have never experienced the Shane Matthews Show, I don't like it when people refer to old Gator players like they were losers. Shane Matthews was excellent for us. Insinuating that he was a scrub would be like saying Emmitt Smith stunk because he didn't deliver a championship, SEC or otherwise. Dude, Gators can do wrong, but never dismiss them for what they couldn't accomplish on the field. Teams were just physically better than us back when Shane played. That, and I thought UF could have beaten Ole Miss had they called better plays and found solutions on offense that kept the offense on the field. These thinngs got better as the season progressed (the light really came on after the Ark game,) but Shane was not only right, he deserves the respect of a guy who did a lot for the team we all love.

You're right. The only reason MLB started testing is because the Feds were getting involved. That could lead to the loss of the antitrust exemption, which opens them to competition and maybe loss of revenue, which is the only thing that MLB does care about.

STOPHATINKOBE,
I don't think that Deron is slacking because he doesn't pass it to AK-47. He is saying that why would I go to a dude that won't give you an honest effort instead of going to someone who will?

Vol Y'all,
Well, you certainly got your wish, didn't you?

I don't like Del Rio, but Matt Jones is the most worthless commodity on the Jaguars team. He won't go after anything but a perfectly thrown ball, and then he only MIGHT catch it. Del Rio using the term 'body language' was a nice way to say that he doesn't hustle or compete. What bothers me is that Del Rio should have been calling people out for the last two years while his 1st rounders played like undrafted free agents. I had to Google Mercedes Lewis to see what his number was, because he was MIA all last year. Unfortunately, it seems as if my hometown is where marginal 1st round picks go to die. We've had some good and great guys (Boselli, Hardy, Taylor, Darius, Bryant, Stroud, and Henderson) and some bad picks (Wynn, Soward and everybody from 2003 to 2006) in the first round. Shoot, except for the pick of Nelson, it seemed like we should have traded out of the first round every year since 2003. I do not like Del Rio, so much so that I would welcome back Coughlin if he hired a good OC, but not only should he have called Matt Jones out, he should have done it in his 2nd year.

USC's #1Fan,
I don't agree with your statement about Cal being able to beat everyone in the SEC besides LSU. The Bears beat Tennessee, to be sure, but they didn't stop them from scoring. In fact, Cal did not dominate. They just won. They would contend in the SEC, to be sure, but they would not be second. There are a lot of land mines in the SEC, just like the PAC-10 (Washington and South Carolina look like problems in both leagues.) Also, LSU is loaded EVERY year. They normally get tripped up every year in this conference by one of the perennial contenders. I do hope to LSU and USC face off, but to say that Cal dominated and would be second in the Southeast.... Well, that's a bit of a reach.
Posted Sunday September 09, 2007, About: Jags owner regrets passing on Quinn
I think he's starting to regret having Jack Del Rio as the coach. Jacksonville needs a team with substance and I don't believe that you can coach the men while trying to get into 'GQ.' If you look back, it's Jack that coaches the team and monitors the development of each player. After the first game, it seems apparent that Leftwich isn't really the problem. Talent isn't really the problem. There's something wrong with the head that's connected to the body that wears a suit when the heat index is 100+.
