i agree with erik on this one. seriously, there are people who run 27 miles daily. Ultra Marathoners run 30-35 miles for training. Besides, one, maybe two wins isn't really much of a promise.

This move would make no sense for the Yankees. I think that the Yankees have proven in the past that money and big name players don't make championships with the signings of A-Rod, Abreau, etc. It just doesnt work. But if they want to blow millions of dollars on Manny and his antics fine by me.

Lions need a change at the QB position. Culpepper is looking for a 3+ year deal instead of a 1 year deal. I don't see how the Lions, or Culpepper for that matter, can give this one up.

everyone says no thanks, but Bronson is actaully one of those guys who pitches better in the AL then the NL. His times with the Sox weren't great, but they were better then his times with the Reds so far.

There is good reason to believe that Spector is just pissed off because his Eagles lost to the Pats in the Superbowl and he feels that his city was 'cheated' of a ring. Fact is, if all this was coming down on the Eagles, or on any team other then the Patriots, he wouldnt have said anything.
