You gotta be kidding me!!! I give you the fact that Penn State deserved to be ranked well after going into Columbus but come on list who they have played this year that mattered. Can you tell me who they beat that is BCS bound? I can tell already that you are just like every bitter Pennsylvania team, 'clinging to your guns and religion', just kidding, but seriously if the Gators and Penn State played one another there wouldn't be a chance that you survived. Clearly the Gators are the better team and play in the toughest conference and guess what... THEY STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND PLAY WORTHY OPPONENTS!!! Nice try...

My head is torn between competing with the "Nation" now or developing true talent in hopes of using those chips internally. That's what chips are for... to improve your team. We have no proven ace of the staff and Santana obviously provides that at 20 million per ( are you kidding me). Remember this people... It's now going to be either Johnny rocket-armed or another potentially high priced FA for centerfield. Gardner and Jackson aren't ready yet. If you make this move, which improves now, commit only a couple of years free agent-wise carefully and you potentially have someone who ends up better than Melky, a true ace of staff in Santana, a new park with the continued development of the farm and the "Empire" staves off the chance of a dynasty forming with "Dee-de-dee Nation". You gotta love deep pockets.
