No problemo, I suggest you go check out a game some day. Plenty of trouble to get into. If you don't get tickets to a game, there alot of bars to double back to in the downtown area and hang out at.

Sorry for the late response but I just gotta say that there is a ton of tailgating for Panthers games. Don't know if you have ever gone down there for a game but the parking lots are packed with people partying. Now the whine and cheese crowd that sit in the gray seats in the middle of the stadium and are hanging out in the club levels leave early. The upper deckers like most sports teams stay til the end. Rich people don't, it's like that in every town. But to say there is no tailgating going on in Charlotte is just wrong.

No, he won't. They've already stated that it would be around $10 mil. He made about $8 mil this year ($5.5 mil plus bonuses). He is not going to make as much as Burnett but he is going to make a hell of alot of cash for a "third" starter.

It's pretty much Andy's call if he wants to come back. If he keeps playing it is going to be in NY. Probably get around $10 mil too. Life ain't bad. Damon and Matsui are alot tougher calls. The Yanks would love to have Damon back for a 1 or 2 year deal but Boras is talking four. If someone gives him that than God bless him but no way NY should match that. Matsui is getting another knee surgery in hopes that he could play the field some next year. If that is the case then the Yanks should throw him an offer. But if all he can do is DH then you probably have to let him go. It sucks but the Yanks have to be practical when it comes to the DH spot for the next few years. They got to spread that around to everyone throughout the season.

To say that Smith is not an elite receiver anymore is just fuggin stupid. He is getting double teamed on every play and there no other receivers on Carolina's roster to take advantage of that fact. Oh, and Delhomme is beyond horrific this year. I've never seen anything like it (and yes I watched the game yesterday). Carolina has a great running game but zero passing game right now. As far as the theory that Smitty can't be good with bad QB play, in '07 when Delhomme got injured and the Panthers played Moore, Testaverde, and Carr, he had 87 catches for 1,002 yds and 7 TDs. That ain't too shabby for a bunch of hack QBs starting. The problem is Jake and Fox's love for him. It's the end of the road for him and the Panthers don't have a 1st rounder. Gonna be a long finish to this season. Fire Fox, bring in Cowher, and let the rebuilding begin...

They need to start over. It was a terrible idea to franchise Peppers. His 14 1/2 sacks last year were a mirage. He dominated the weak teams on their easy schedule and disappeared against the good ones. Their schedule going into this season was alot tougher and his performance should have been expected. His ridiculous contract caused the Panthers to lose all their O-line depth and several of their better special teams players. Losing Kemo for the season during the first practice of TC killed them too. Teams just run all over them.

Fox has been a good coach but he has been there for awhile now and it seems like no one is listening. Not that his boring and conservative approach to everything would inspire anyone. No 1st round pick this year hurts as well. I would prefer they not trade Smith but if it would bring back a 1st rounder they would have to think about it. They have to draft a frachise-type QB. The problem is those aren't guaranteed and drafting a QB that high goes against the franchise's philosophy. Something has to give...

Does anyone know what his defensive rating is this year on all those overhyped statistical analysis tools that have said he sucks? Because if they say he is a bad fielder with no range that will prove my theory that they are BS. The guy has been a machine in the field this year.
