The Cap is not dumb. I don't understand why everything thinks Hockey pulls in the $$$ like football and baseball. The Cap is what's keeping hockey going. We had to miss hockey for a whole year to get it.

The weird thing about NYR is as many stoopid signings they seem to be a couple pieces shy of being a legit contender. Maybe they will be one before Tortz destroys the locker room.

The Wings fans making sense about the 30 seconds brought a tear to my eye...there are people on here that know what they are talking about!
By the way, it wasn't Sid's job to shake Lidstrom's hand...he lost. It was Lidstroms job to congratulate Sid as the winner and he pouted away to the dressing room and then cried to the media because he couldn't wait 30 seconds. And Sid is the whiny baby? You guys crack me up.

When the Pens lost last year us fans took it like men.
This year is hilarious, you guys are crying like a bunch of babies. What makes it sweeter is all the high and mighty smack talk from the wings fans. You guys act like the NHL gave the Pens some cakewalk into the finals...having to go through Philly and Washington.
Game 3 you guys had a chance to make the series 3-0.
Game 6 you had a chance to win our Mellon ice again.
Game 7 you had a chance to win on your home ice.
And lets not forget, you won it last year you arrogant d bags.

They should go back to 7 dmen and double shift Crosby and Malkin.
Crosby and Malkin will have plenty of chances for Cups in their careers, but I feel for Gonchar. I don't think there is a player on the team right now that deserves their name on it more.

Don't get me wrong, the Wings are good, but do you guys think there is some magic talent they have to keep the opposing teams from coming in with control? Is it any wonder that the first game they did anything about it the Pens won? The first two games were sickening. I would take the first two games of the Caps series where the Pens lost because at least that was up and down exciting hockey.

They weren't I saw the interview he was asked about the Pens and fired back with that Gem.
Oh, and the NBC broadcast was almost as bad as the Pens losing. I would rather hear Fran Drescher call the game than listen to Pierre Macguire. When Pierre interviews Crosby I'm secretly hoping he will pull a Happy Gilmore and stab him with his skate.

Babcock certainly has earned his right to be smug and arrogant, so why not I guess?
I also think there should be a drinking game every time he reminds us they are an original 6 team. I'm sure he wasn't complaining about being ignored when the Wings were in the Winter Classic against Chicago, a team they are expected to and should beat. It is do or die tonight for the Pens they came back 0-2 against the Caps but that is a tall order against the Wings.

What I love about this series is that the Pens took out their top 2 rival fan bases. I want Chicago to win tonight to take more out of Detroit but they won't win the series. Now all the Pens have to do is take out the team that beat them for the cup the previous year to cap off this epic run.
And a big LOL to the Detroit fans acting like they are in the cup finals already.

LOL, you are just too deep for this board Last Call.
Hard to feel bad for the Canes after the last 2 minutes of that game.
And Wings 4 Life Cooke was already suspended this year. Of all the teams it cracks me up to here the cup conspiracies come from the Wings fans, like you guys haven't won your fair share in the last decade or so. You are giving an organization that can't figure out how to discipline its players and still thinks hockey works in the south a lot of credit.
