Posted Friday June 06, 2008, About: Berman defends U.S. Open shtick
Chris Berman is the worst sportscaster of all time. Anything he does is all about him, he wants to be the story, he wants to be the focus. How many times can we listen to his stupid nicknames, his 'back back back' crap, his 'rumbling bumbling stumbling' garbage, etc etc etc. That fat piece of dung needs to be locked in a closet for eternity.

another scoring talent going to be wasted in the dullest league in the world. guatemalan 3rd division is more entertaining than the serie A.
Posted Friday May 23, 2008, About: Will South Africa lose 2010 Cup?
Bring it to the USA. Sotty but Africa is simply not ready to be on the world stage. If they don't move it, 2010 will be an utter disaster.
Posted Friday May 23, 2008, About: Why Paterno won't play Pitt
Whatever. Penn State has no obligation to fill sPitt's stadium and have sPitt force PSU fans to buy tickets for 3 lousy sPitt games, just to get the tickets to the one PSU game. Bundling tickets is pathetic, and is reserved for programs like Temple. Pitt is in that category.
Posted Wednesday May 21, 2008, About: Arena rips Red Bulls ownership
Arena is a prick. And his blind loyalty to old washed-up losers like killed any momentum that the US had from Japan/Korea
Posted Wednesday May 14, 2008, About: Mayo may turn USC recruit
"Uh oh" says DeRozan. "Mayo let the cat out of the bag, now i'll never get the money that was promised me. I better go somewhere else to get my cash"

good god. i've driven after drinking a million times. i know damn well that if you've had even just a glass of wine with dinner, drive the **** speed limit and not one mph more. throw the book at this moron.
Posted Tuesday May 13, 2008, About: Rutgers recruit starts recruiting
Try as they will, but Rutgers has a limited ceiling playing in that conference. They're not as good at WVU, Pitt recruits better, South Florida has leap-frogged Rutgers, and recruits aren't going to be attracted by bowl matchups in Toronto versus MAC teams. Calabrese is a PSU lock, by the way.

gas can. if there is a better poster boy for the effects of roids, i can't find him.
Posted Wednesday May 07, 2008, About: APR Report hits WSU hard
These schools need to take a page out of Michigan's playbook. General Studies, Independent study courses with grossly inflated grades, etc etc.
Posted Tuesday May 06, 2008, About: Brewers GM stands behind Gagne
Gagne blows. i knew Melvin made a mistake with him. I hope they have someone in mind for later this year, let alone next year. Brewers are going to blow their window of opportunity to get to the playoffs before they can't afford to pay all the young talent.
Posted Wednesday April 30, 2008, About: Recruit to pick Lions over Gators
that's good news, considering the other two signees for 2009 are nothing to write home about.
Posted Wednesday April 30, 2008, About: Chiefs' Johnson shares bubbly
larry johnson is the ultimate phony. he's trying to overcompensate for his suburban upbringing in the DC area and then in state college, PA. he's always tried to play the thug.
Posted Tuesday April 15, 2008, About: Michigan questionable at QB
xxx84xxx, you're really going out on a limb there, considering scUM has beaten penn state 9 times in a row. What's next? a prediction that the sun will set in the west?
Posted Tuesday April 01, 2008, About: Pats favor radio helmet for defense
All Radio helmets should be banned. Football is a human game meant to be played with strength, agility, intensity, and intelligence, not electronics.
Posted Friday March 28, 2008, About: Penn State wants Paterno exit plan
Of course the OSU and Michigan fans want Joe to stay for 10-15 more years. That means 10-15 more wins for those teams.
Posted Saturday March 22, 2008, About: Paterno talks turning sour
AnthonyE, i'm as big a penn state and paterno fan as they come, having grown up in state college, but 29-9 in the past three years includes a not-so-special 16-8, so we're 13-1 against what has been some of the worst non-conference schedules in the country. That record in the big ten includes a nice 1-5 record v. OSU and Michigan.

Bowl wins are nice, but FSU was a 5-loss team (albeit talented, and yes they won the ACC title), Tennessee was a solid win, but A&M had no coach and were a mediocre big 12 team. It's nothing to really brag about. The recruiting is slipping, the good will from '05 is gone, the slow development of top offensive players hurts recruiting, and Jay Paterno is completely worthless. It's time for Joe to finish it all up and go into fund-raising and sealing the deal with recruits. PSU is a sleeping giant and needs some new blood to wake it up.
Posted Friday March 07, 2008, About: Michigan alums lecture Rodriguez
I wonder how long it took a prominent alumnus to ask:

"Coach Rodriguez, you know it's OK here to give briefcases full of cash to referees prior to the game, right? For convenience, just give the season total to Dick Honig and he'll take care of the rest."
Posted Wednesday February 13, 2008, About: Philly nearing MLS expansion
open-mindedness is something that is in very short supply in this country, especially amongst the average sports fans.

"the bullets". nice. what about the "crack rocks" or "guidos"?
Posted Wednesday February 13, 2008, About: Philly nearing MLS expansion
i love it when the boorish sports fans insult soccer. they obviously feel threatened by it, or else they wouldn't read this to begin with, let alone take the time to post their feelings on the subject. The location of the stadium is less-than-ideal. However, SE PA is full of soccer fans, and is one of the most rich soccer environments in the country. Season tickets for this team will sell out quickly, and i will be one of those in line.

Ignore the haters, they are just insecure.

What should the Philly team be named?
Posted Thursday December 27, 2007, About: Penn State QB dodges reporters
He's a college student, i don't think it's necessary for him to sit there and have his heart and skills questioned by a bunch of balding middle-aged poorly-dressed fishwrap hacks.

However, this is a prime example of Morelli's bratty attitude which has translated into zero leadership from a captain, clearly manifested in how the offense simply did not rally around him and had no confidence in him in the 4th quarter of important games.
