I think it's a good move. He knows the team and can give some help on arrival. I am tired of the nay sayers that moan about his age, why isn't it a factor for Favre then? He's just as "old" so 40 is the new 30 anyway. I should know I over 40 and feel good and I'm smarter now than I was in my 20's for sure, even though we all think we know it all when we come out of college. Then life happens.
Posted Thursday October 08, 2009, About: Poll: America's Team is...
What does that mean anyway? Who did they ask? TEXANS, I do not love the cowboys, never had never will. I grew up in New England, Massachusetts and will forever be a New England fan, regardless of the outcome of any of my teams. I love when they take these polls. They never say who took them and who was polled, like the demographics. I am sure it was a "scientific" poll (yeah right!) but when you have 1.5 Billion dollars to spend on a stadium I guess you can alter the results of a poll in your favor.

Yankee's SUCK!! I love the photo of A-Rod kissing himself in the mirror, it says it all.
Posted Monday October 05, 2009, About: Ex-Patriot to Brady: 'Take off the skirt'
Since when does a QB make the rules and influence the ref's. PLEASE, if anyone needs to strap one on it's him. I get sick of the comments about Brady. If the media isn't talking trash about his looks and his wife then it's his image. It's a game People, I think he is one of the best QB's I have ever seen and I'm 44. I think Eli is over over rated and his brother is a great QB, I think Drew will be great sooner than later but enough about Brady and of course some MORON will again bring up spygate.
Posted Friday September 25, 2009, About: Yanks, Red Sox may out-bid Twins for Mauer
What year is are we in now, this is not a story yet, what til something happens. It must be a s.l.o.w. news day to report that another team might outbid his contract at the end of it in 2010, maybe by then then the Yanks old stadium might be taken down, the new World Trade Center will be up and the polar ice caps will stop melting. Could happen one never knows oh yeah and the economy will be better than ever and health care will be available to everyone and our taxes won't go up(on my Cadillac plan, whatever the hell that is) and my son's school will stop making drastic budget cuts. Just a thought.
Posted Wednesday September 16, 2009, About: Brady snubs Kolber's postgame interview
Isn't luck a part of every sport, the way the ball bounces, the winner of the toss. Luck is one thing but turning luck into a win is another. Yeah there was a fumble, but don't overlook the fact that Brady got his team downfield and they scored. We don't know what would have happened w/o the fumble, so many things could have, so saying that they only won was because of luck is short sighted and unfair. I don't think he snubbed her either. He wanted to get into the locker room, they come out after and do their interviews, Give the guy a break for once. I know a lot of people don't like him because he's good but he does deserve your respect for being a great QB and a great leader.
Posted Thursday September 10, 2009, About: T.O. trash talks Patriots
T.O. is nothing more than an empty self obsessed idiot. I am so tired of the "spygate" (why does this country need to add the word gate to everything) the PATS are a great team end of discussion. I think the issue has been written about talked about more than it should have and it needs to be buried. The sad thing is that a guy like T.O. can't think of anything else with his lack of a brain that he has to make a comment on an issue that happened years ago Let???s not forget the tears T.O. and that's my quarterback Tony Romo comment after your loss, Sorry dude t hat was the biggest embarrassment in sports in my humble opinion.
Posted Wednesday August 19, 2009, About: Ryan takes shot at Belichick
Focus on your own team. What's wrong with the Jets as an organization? you had Manloser their saying basically the samething and look where that got him, I don't get it, why do they feel the need to say anything about an oppossing team. You words should be limited to what happens on the field and that's it. Let you body of work do the talking. He is making a mistake he needs to have his players respect him not Belechick, by the way he'll make Mangini look good. I hate the JETS!!!!!
Posted Monday August 17, 2009, About: Jets glad Mangini's gone
Mangini's problem was that he was trying to hard to be his former boss. He never developed his own style. Right from the start he was trying so hard to beat Belechick that he lost sight of himself/his team. You can't be someone else even if you try. He was a wannabe and with that he became ineffective as a coach.
Posted Tuesday August 11, 2009, About: Slow-play warning angers Tiger
Have you ever heard Tiger be anything but professional all these years. NO,I think everyone is entitled to a bad day. I still think he is the best. It's sad that some idiots bring up his race, it is in the same realm as a Jessie Jackson saying that Race is the reason no team wants Vick. Please race is not an issue there or even here. Tiger is the best, not because he is a mixed race but because he is a great player. Some of you need to pull your head out of your asses.
Posted Sunday August 09, 2009, About: Jesse Jackson: NFL colluding against Vick?
God I hate that man. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are such blood sucking media hoares. The only want the attention for "their" causes. They do more harm than good. To them the 50's are still the way it is. Teams are not lining up for Vick for the headache it will bring to them. Is he suggesting that because he can't find a team that there must be racism involved, Didn't I read something about Vick doing a stint in prison for dog fighting, Maybe that's why. I think he should shut up, Doesn't the Jackson family need him for something, maybe help them bury the guy and to remind us that MJ was normal ( no nose and all).
Posted Sunday August 09, 2009, About: Brady to benefit from Eli's contract?
I agree with the post by Luvdatdurdywatta Tom is what sportsmanship is about. He is a team player 100% and has proven that over and over. For an athlete these days to take a pay cut so he can help build a great team speaks on so many levels. Congress hasn't even done that nor has any CEO ( maybe one has but will make it up on bonuses for sure) that has helped w/the Country's fiscal woes. I respect him and admire him ( it helps that he is easy on the eyes as well). I think Eli will regret taking that much money when his team doesn't do well. The reporters will be picking him apart as well as the fans. They will want him to earn all that money with blood and flesh if need be. His brother is 10 times the QB he is. NYC is in a slup as well it just doesn't look right. I have never been able to understand the attacks on him personally, yeah it's ok if you don't like him as a player, At least he hasn't shot himself in his leg or killed anyone while driving drunk or locked up for funding dog fighting, He is a breath of fresh air. Well that's my two cents. Okay a little more than 2..
Posted Thursday June 25, 2009, About: Ex-Patriot: Players think Favre is selfish
I think Favre should retire before he has a serious injury. He is getting up there in age and is pushing it. Why is the guy afraid to retire? Doesn't he have enough money and I know he has kids so he should make a decsion and stick to it. I hate people who change their minds over and over. It's annoying? Maybe he doesn't want to have a normal relationship with his wife, afraid of the day to day life w/o football. I am sure he could get a job on any network, so enough already.

I'm sorry but I just don't buy the roids comment. I don't see any difference in his mass or anything over the years. Hitting doesn't improve because of steroids the power of the hit may but that is not Papi's problem. He's recovering from an injury to his wrist and with that his timing is way off. So stop w/the roids for a minute and look at photo's of him. He actually called for the names on the "list" to be printed. If he thought he was on it do you think he would of. Lets focus on the real roid abusers, AROD yeah you... I think Big Papi is just frustrated and he'll get it back.

Gee I think I chose the wrong profession. God 40 million. The neurosurgeon that saved my life doesn't make enough and the teacher who teaches my son gets peanuts and these pampered athlete's make ridiculous amounts of money for playing a "sport". I know that they are the best at what they do, but come on enough is enough. When will it end?
Posted Monday April 13, 2009, About: Inside Red Sox-Angels feud
Life goes on, yes it is sad that they lost a team mate but once they get on the field the game is played. It is a sad story for sure, but what "message" do you think Beckett was sending, I happy your teammate died in an accident. These are professional players, I say the play there wasn't any attempt by Beckett to hit him, Why would he? You say he's a chump, I am not sure what that means. If time out was granted why was Abreau still in the box, he should have stepped out. I think Beckett was surprised that a timeout was granted but I think a lot is being made about this. I am not sure who said what, but when there's a lot of testerone flowing things happen. One more thing this is a discussion about BASEBALL not Football or Hockey, so for all you ADD people stay focused. I know it's hard. You can talk your trash about the Pats when it's football season. As far as the Red Sox being classless do you even know what that means? Do you know how the Jimmy Fund got started and all the lives that have been saved because of this. Every city loves their teams and whenever there is an "incident" involving a Boston team some of you throw that word around and I for one think you are clueless and shallow, So shut up for once and get a life.
Posted Monday April 06, 2009, About: Report: Gunfire at Brady-Bundchen wedding
I agee w/the remarks about this being a sport site not TMZ. I think once an investigation is completed they will find out it was one of the photographers, look at how much attention they have gotten. It's a hell of a lot more than any photo would have been. As far as two weddings, that is common when one is from another country. in the US you have to be married here to have it be legal. I was married in Paris and then here in the US. I think they did that because of her family some being to old to travel. Lets get back to sports and leave this. I was surprised to see this story here, It made the front page of the NY Post, tom is such a private person and they love following him around. Stupid. Maybe the guy who runs TMZ has a MAN crush on Tom..
Posted Wednesday March 25, 2009, About: Inside NFL's new 'Brady Rule'
this post is for LittleMsONe, I also broke my neck, I broke c1 & c2 in a car accident. I am now fused from the base of my skull to T2. When i first broke it I was told my odds were slim to ever walk again ( I was also given my last rights) but I did and have since had to have 6 more surgeries. What happens is that you put more pressure on the other vertabrae that aren't designed for turning and other things. I have two rods and screws and bone from my hip in my neck., Yes its painful but if it keeps you moving then you have to do it. If your neck is unstable than you shouldn't wait, I was never given a choice on my fusions and the followng ones. I would see another neurosurgeon and get it done, because all it could take is a fall or any other type of accident to make it become more unstable. I was 20 when I broke it and I am know 44 and have a beautiful son. I do live in constant pain, but the key is I am living and I am walking. I even continued with bodybuilding 2 yrs after my accident. I competed for over 10 years and look at life as a gift. So hang in there and go to another doctor. Good Luck..

I take the MOM comments as insults. Moms are tough and we take more than any man does. Just by being a mom and dealing with you 'boys' all the time. I do think it is a good rule, if it was called by another name most of you wouldn't have a problem.
Posted Friday March 20, 2009, About: Belichick leaves door open for Peppers
Again the Patriot haters have their childish comments to make. Tom Brady getting hurt is not funny, it's not funny to wish that on any person. We just saw a terrible tragedy happen w/a head trauma that wasn't suppose to have been significant. So think about what you are saying. Sick!!! I am 44 and today most "older" people are in a lot better shape than they were say 15 years. I hope they win it all and then you losers will be bringing up the past once again.
