They do have other needs but (and I may be a little bias here) I think Burke makes players around him better and more efficient. I like Vasquez but Im not so sure you can say that about him. Three years from now Vasquez will probably be a great sub on a good team.

Scoring guard who can put up big numbers...check Point guard who is not spectacular but plays steady....check Power forward who is willing to bang and play defense and can give you some scoring....check Small forward who can????? never mind that one. Obviously you did not understand what I said. Regular season means nothing. You name me a superstar player who does not whine about calls? It has happened with everyone. MJ whined about calls all the time until they changed the rules for him. No Bulls fan will ever get to cry about foul calls after the way MJ got phantom calls for years. The Bulls played a hell of a game to end the streak but good luck playing that way every game in a seven game series against the Heat. Like I said i respect the Bulls players and Im actually beginning to become a Noah fan again cause dude is a warrior. Good luck.

The regular season is just that the regular season. Playoffs are a different beast. I respect the Bulls for their grit and never say die attitude (I cant believe I just said something nice about the bulls...shame) but that can only take you so far. Never offended my friend. But to answer your question. Joe hands were tied from making any moves during the sell of the team which took 3 years. Now some may say that trading Billups for an expiring contract of AI was a bad thing but I beg to differ. CB was not playing inspired ball for us anymore and a change was due and it cleared up 21 million (now I know Joe made the dummy move to give it to CV and BG). Since the change of ownership Joe has traded the contract of Gordon and Prince freeing up cap space. The hiring of Frank was not Joe idea it was the owner wanting him Joe actually wanted the guy coaching your team. If you really think about it he has put this team in a good situation of young talent and cap space. Now Im not trying to hold on to him forever but I do believe he deserves this coming year. I just do not see a better option than a guy who has proven he can make it happen.

Why? Lets see for over 3 years his hands were tied because of the sell of the team and the former owner did not want him making any moves. Joe has been a savy GM and made some good moves. There is no reason he can not get another shot at building this team back up..

So building a team into a champion and the only team to ever go to 6 consecutive conference finals is not a suitable GM? Mind you Detroit is not a major market team and no one is glamouring to come here so that makes that even better. Joe has made many bad decisions but he also has found away to right most of them. Now as far a picking a coach he has made some bad decisions but heck the last coach we had was picked by a consultant....Im not saying he gets a pass but I will say he deserves a chance.
